It's not done yet! I'm still getting ribbons in the mail.
Rio was on before the tripawd party, and I got ribbons from Dakota Dawg and Bo in the last couple days.
About 3' of the 6' leash is filled so there is room for more. If I fill that one up I'll start a second leash.

Wow! The leash looks amazing and I can even see the ribbons for Spirits Dakota, Elise, and Freckles! Thank you Karen, for doing this project and giving us the opportunity to be part of the walk from miles away. Go Team Tripawds!

I'm planning on using the Leash for other Tripawds events all over- the Walk on the 29th will not be the only time it is displayed.
Yesterday I received ribbons for Angel Sierra, who's pack will be at the walk, and for Spirit Max, who's pack was at the Nor Cal Tripawd party last Saturday.

The ribbon project is an awesome idea. I so enjoyed making Trouble's ribbon and the ribbon for the November Five. I had the help and support of Trouble's other mother (the friend who gave Trouble to me) and we laughed and cried as we collected our supplies and worked on the project together. And it honors both the living and the 'spirit' angels. Very, very special.

Hey everybody,
I'm getting ready to send the Tribute Leash on its first big road trip- to Greyhounds Rock 2012 in Fredericksberg Virginia. There is a little time to get a ribbon to me if you want your pup represented on the Leash at this event.
The Leash is an ongoing project, and is available to Tripawd members to represent our group at events like this. It lives with me here in CA, but I want it to be able to represent us at as many K9 cancer fighting events as possible.
As a reminder the Leash represents any tri or quad pawd family members who are still with us, or who have passed on. And it is open to all- not just those on the cancer journey, but all who are part of our Tripawd community here.

Oh I can't tell you how anxious I am to make ribbons for my cancer fighter Meeko and my angel Casper!! I know what I'm buying at the store tomorrow!! Thank you for Jerry for bumping this thread to the top and bringing it back to life for us newbies!!
Our tripawd is Meeko. Four and a half year old male Leonberger. Certified therapy dog with his CGC. Diagnosed with grade 1 chondrosarcoma 9-16-12. Right rear leg amputated 10-1-12. We also had Casper who was an 8 year old Great Pyrenees diagnosed with osteosarcoma. We sent him to the Rainbow Bridge 10-29-11.
Oh goodee! Anypawdy else want to get in on the Tribute Leash before it gets sent to Virginia? Hurry!
