NOTE: Submission Deadline Has Passed!
No More Photos Can Be Accepted. Thank you.
Please read all details below before submitting your photos!
Get your Tripawds featured in the 2016 community calendars when you post and share your one photo!
Who’s Eligible?
- All registered Tripawds members and/or @tripawds followers and fans may each submit one photo.
- Photos of Tripawd Heroes (living) or Angels (deceased) of any species are welcome.
- Only photos of three legged animals will be accepted.
- Packs with multiple Tripawds are also eligible (you can enter 1 photo per Tripawd or a group photo).
- Group photos featuring four legged pack members may be submitted, as long as the Tripawds is prominently posed.
- Previous calendar Tripawds are encouraged to send a new photo.
- IMPORTANT: Only images meeting all the photo file requirements below will be published!*
Photo Requirements
*Only one “Print-Ready” photo per Tripawd (or pack) will be accepted for the calendar. This means that the one image you submit must be of good enough resolution/size to be printed in a paper calendar. If not, it cannot be included in the calendar (small photos do not reproduce well in print).
- Minimum Image Dimensions: 2400 x 1800
- Landscape Orientation Preferred
- Smaller image files will not be accepted
Your original source image must be at least 2400 x 1800 minimum size. Smaller image files or photos with poor reproduction quality cannot be accepted. Why? Because Tripawds are awesome! And this is going to be an awesome calendar.
Here’s how to tell if your photo is of adequate quality:
On a Mac: view the photo and “Get Info” by typing “ + i” (Command I).
On Windows: Right-click to view image properties or hover your mouse over the photo in your Library or image viewer.
Clear as mud? Ask any questions you’d like so we can help you find one great photo.
How to Submit Your Photo
- Email one photo here to admin (at) tripawds.com.
- Photos MUST be received no later than Friday 10/23 at 11:59pm Eastern Time.
- You will receive a reply to your email or post confirming your image file is suitable for reproduction.
- If you still need help contact us, we’re happy to assist.
Keep in mind that when you post your pic in the Forums, it will automatically be resized to fit on screen. That’s OK. As long as you email your original photo you’re in business.
All photos submitted by the 10/23 deadline will be included in a Tripawds Community Calendar!
This is not a contest. All images suitable for reproduction will be included. Multiple calendar versions will be designed, based on the number of photos submitted. Photos submitted after the deadline will not be included. Calendars will be available for purchase in the Tripawds Gift Shop by mid November.
Any questions? Let us know if you need help, or start digging for that one perfect photo!
Thank you! A portion of calendar proceeds help keep the Tripawds community online.

I've been waiting to see this! Back when Murphy crossed the Brudge, I sent a picture to Rene. She said to remind you that she had put it into a folder for the calendar entry. If you can't find it, I will try to dig it ip again. Thanks!
Kathi and the Turbotail April Angel...and the Labradork
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
YAY!!!! Im so excited for this, the calendars were a hit last year! I'll be emailing pictures as soon as I can pick them!

Oh, good! I'm glad it was there.

And this would NOT be calendar worthy, right???
Just trying to be helpful! This is what stares at me every night when I eat. Have you ever seen such long slobbery drool? Yum!! Although...if you stidy it carefully, those two glowing eyes in the background are of TRIPAWD Frankie. Landscape orientation??? Hmmm...gotta work on that. Drool orientation...does that count?
Okay, you can delete this now....just a little...very little...tavlet humor!! I'll definitely be submitting and thank you for these great forever treasures!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
PAWESOME! I'll find a photo of Shelby for this year ... I can't wait till October (in a couple days) so I can look at her beautiful calendar page ALL month! It was so much fun to have her in it last year. My angel's legacy!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Oh my, Sassy. I would have a hard time picking, too. I think they are both great, Michelle.

Yeah, they're voth great Michelle. Jim will select from a computer techie criteria point of view. I think the second one fits the "criteria" the best. Vut I'm liking the first one best. I just always love Sassy's mugh shots!
kathi...great picture of Murphy!

What about a picture of a tripawd where their tripawd-ness isn't visible? (ie, does the actual lack of a limb need to show in the photo).
Active 10+ Pyr mix suddenly came up lame with ACL tear in left rear leg. Scheduled for a TPLO but final pre-op x-rays indicated a small suspicious area, possibly OSA, which could have caused the ACL tear. Surgeon opened the knee for TPLO but found soft bone. Biopsy came back positive for OSA. Became a Tripawd 9/18/14. Carbo6 with Cerenia and Fluids. Pain free and living in the moment. Crossed the Bridge on 7/12/15 after probable spread of cancer to her cervical spine. A whole lifetime of memories squeezed into 10 months. Here's her story: Eloise
Anna...it wouldn't matter. If you look at Murphy's picture, it is impossible to see that he is a Tripawd, since his rear end is underwater behind his front. His picture in last year's calendar was simply a head shot. Just pick out the most wonderful picture you can find. We are looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Ideally, we want to show Tripawds in all there awesomeness! That's why we'll be using the photo of Sassy standing proud. But as you can see, it's not totally obvious that she's missing a limb.
So yeah, while photos depicting running, swimming and playing around on three legs are best, we'll gladly accept other pics if they meet the production requirements.
Thanks!
