Being told your 12-year old dog needs to lose a leg because of cancer is not easy. And amputation is not right for every situation. But as today's Tripawd Tuesday shows, dogs like Mayhem who are good candidates for surgery really can thrive after limb loss. Here's what his mom Melissa has to say about how her boy is handling life on three legs.

  • He's doing well. He had some tough first nights, but he's doing well now.
