No need to apologize. Brownie had a wonderful life!

THe Border Collie is number 1 on the smartest dog list in the US. Jara is definitely proving that To be true.

Just love all the videos!

My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019.  With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer.  I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud!  He will live forever in my Heart!

WOW she's working so hard! Not in a bad way, she looks very strong and so enthusiastic. I love how you have the wobble board set up,like Sadie's.

Your other dog is like "Um, maybe this isn't for me." icon_lol

Great job helping Jara be the strongest she can be!

She is amazing! I can't believe how far she has come in such a short amount of time

Great job Jara and family!

She is so cute doing  her fitness exercises.  She so cute in everything  she does!!!  And complet focused on her treats and not intimidated  by the balance board at all.

Does anything tire Jara out??  I would think this would...but maybe not😉

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

I wish I had Jara's energy!

Just curious what is the brand of the Balance Disc that you have there? Can you see a name on it? We are always looking at different product options for Tripawd exercises!

Jara is a very lucky dog to have you as a human. It is clear how much she is loved and you show to have such patience. A quality I wish I had . Lol

Gracias! It looks like a great product. And I sp_hearticon2sp_hearticon2sp_hearticon2 her other balance board! Great job with the traction on top, it's so helpful. She is doing really well. How long are you doing each exercise?

Jerry, the physiotherapist has told me: "You can do it in several repetitions, but always without exhausting it. For 3 minutes every 48-72 hours or as long as it lasts"

I have some doubts about some treatments and maybe someone has had some experience with them:
1- combination chemotherapy, carboplatin + doxorubicin
2- nonspecific immunomodulators (muramil tripeptide, parapoxivirus D1701), interlencin 2 (oral route)
3- doxycycline
4- vitamin C, intravenously

5- Oncovet I and II

6-Turmeric

7-mushrooms

I can't give you any advise on the Chemo.  Brownie and I saw a Holistic Vet.  However, we did use a mushroom powder that is suppose to slow the spreading of cancer.  In the nutrition blog there is a supplement named "K9 Immunity " that I believe does contain the mushrooms.  We also did a homemade diet and homemade treats.  We stayed away from Carbs and especially sugar.  Cancer feeds off of sugar.  You can also go to the K9 Immunities site and they have  a pretty simple recipe to follow.  Also, research on CBD has been found to help with cancer pain and slow the spread.  Just make sure you purchase the full spectrum.

Hope this helps some.  I know others will chime in regarding the chemo.
