I'm so sorry for your loss of your Mountie.  But he is out of this terrible pain of cancer now.

 Melissa.....I'm so sorry.

You gave Mountie (love that name) the ultimate gift.....peace and release from pain.  I remember when my blind golden girl, Gracie, told me she was ready.  She hadn't been able to get up on her own for a couple of days, and as we went to lift her to carry her to the car, she stood and walked.  I wanted to turn around and walk right back into my house...I nearly did.  But then I realized that Gracie was giving me a gift.............a beautiful memory of her walking into the light.

Godspeed, Mountie.

Thank you for having the strength to free Mountie from his pain. It is one of the hardest, but most loving, decisions we have to make. RIP Mountie.
Cancer sucks.
Sending hugs and tears.
Laura and Angel Tai

Tai – 9 yr old lab. Diagnosed Osteosarcoma Dec 18/09. Front right leg amputated Dec 21/09. Started chemo Jan 7/10. Lung mets discovered Sept 16/10. Valiant to the end on Oct 26/10 when cancer reappeared in a leg and we made the decision to set her free. Forever in my heart where not even cancer can take her from me.
