Yeah it's a toss up about the four versus six treatments. I believe that current thinking is that four is just as effective as six. I'll be curious about what your oncologist says. Have a great week!

Here is a new video of Sadie swimming at a small lake in the woods. I feel safe throwing the ball out farther with the life jacket on. She used to go out far with four legs.
It was windy but Sadie did not care. The end is a bit funny, as she tries to get over the log. It was too hard to pull her self up with one paw 
WOW!!!! I got exha just watching g her! And she swam with so much speed and focus!!
I think she saw that ,og as a mich needed rest spot.....or she wa8 to top her swim off with a log walk😎

She is not only strong and beautiful and athletic, but she's SMART! I love the way she figured out how to go around the log. She's awesome!
P.S. That lake is so gorgeous. I'm super jealous you have it in your backyard!

I talked to the oncologist ,today, and he recommended continuing with the Chemo. He said slowing down the cancer is worth the risk over anything with the the kidneys. And he said that he does not think it is that bad and they still need to do more tests. Her fifth chemo will be on on the 21st.
Tomorrow is Sadie's 4 month Ampuversary!
Well cool. I'd have to agree with the onco, it seems like a reasonable way to go. She's doing so well otherwise, why not?!
OMD can't wait to see how you celebrate her big day. We are cheering her on, congrats!!!

Sadie had her fifth chemo yesterday. This time they said everything is good! They re-evaluated the x-rays from last month and concluded that it is cartilage that dogs get when the get older. Her blood work was good and her urine sample / kidneys are good.
Next one is the last chemo and they will do x-rays.
As usual after chemo, she did not eat here breakfast but she ate a Costco do biscuit.
I am not sure what the put in those that she prefers it to her food of chicken and rice.
All dogs love those biscuits!
Maybe because it is a special treat compared to her everyday food.
WHEW! YAY! AND RIGHT ON!!!! Here's to cartilage on the x-rays!!!!
Haha Costco biscuits are the magic ingredient to a hoppy belly after chemo. Maybe they're the McDonald's of treats? Whatever the ingredient, it works and I'm so happy she's getting back to her usual self. WONDERFUL news Tony, thanks for the update.

I know my typing is horrible and hard to figure out sometimes. Then when the auto correct spelling thing kicks in and tries to "correct a typo"......you get nonsensical
