Ohhh myyyy...I'm in love with these bears too!  As Jerry said though, it wasn't  our house that was ransacked....still such an adorable photo and precious story.

I love that they went out the door when you opened it.  I'm sure they much preferred that exit as opposed to going thru Sadie's doggy door. And so cute that the baby bear took off with your neighbor's  sugar stash.

While I'm sorry it happened, glad it was you and your neighbor as someone else may have hurt them, or worse.

Now, the way I see it.  Sadie used her Spirit energy to communicate  with her Bear friends to tell them to break j to uour hoise.  And just so you wouldn't  forget, Itwas  just her way of reminding  you what a stellar job she did keeping those bears away from your home!

Thanks for the  Bear update..clearly .orchestrated  by Sadie♥️

Merry Christmas Happy Holidays!

These are Sadies Santa photos from two years ago.

We have snow now and I think the bears are in hibernation now!

Sadie loved the snow!

Awwww......seeing sweet Sadie in all her glory brings a smile to my heart.  Yes, the "first" Christmas or "first" anything can be bittersweet.  But thank goodness we have treasured photos like this to remind us what a well lived and well loved and Hapoy earth life Sadie lived.

And I say this with all sincerity, Sadie has been, and shall conti ue to be a TripawdRockstar who p,ayed full out and never let three legs interfere  with sadie bein Sadie.  We reference  her videos a lot arou d here when a newbie  fears their dog wont do well on three.  Well take a look at this amazing dog named Sadie!!

I'm so glad your chronicled  Sadie's journey here with so many videos and photos.  Seeing her first swim, her many swims, her Hapoy Birthday swimms....seeingnher do her "log walk"....seeing the fun she had with Rosco..seeing her happiness innthe snow....and kne pf my favorites, seeing her run like the wind on her trails.  Yes, Sadie will always be a legacy here of what's possible on three.

Sending you best wishes for a Merry Christmas and happy memories of your sweet Sadie.

PS....Any more bear visitors.?.

Hi,

I am so glad that Sadie will continue to help other tripawd families !

Finding your site after the prognoses was and still is such a great help!!!

Thank you very much!

Since we have snow now ( and a lot of it!) the bears are hibernating and we probably will not see them until spring.

But we have a new visiter: I adopted a 1.5 year old from Rotts of Friends rescue in Woodland, Ca.

I was casually looking, not sure if I was ready, when I saw her. From the description she seemed a lot like Sadie and was too much for her owner and lacked training.  I just got her on  12/18 and so far she is great and loves the snow!

I hope Spirit Sadie is ok with her, especially since she is getting all her handy me downs.

I always though about getting another dog as Sadie got older. I wish she was here to play with her and teach her about the bears!

Wjat a cutie!!!  And clearly she has won the Puppy Lottery with you as her furever home.  Too much for her precious owner??? That's  because she was waiting for the right hooman to understand her and help her be the dog she was born to be.

And make no mistake, Sadie had her paws all over this!!   And she's already taught her a lot of "Sadie specific  traits".  Yoi'll see them unfold when you least expect it.  Just like she sent her to you when you were least expecting  to bring another dog nto your loving home. And heart.  Oh don't  worry, Sadie has her own spot furecer nestled in your heart.  She knew it woild be big enoigh to share with others.

That picture of the pup (her name?) Next to the beautiful snow covered  Christmas tree is Hallmark card worthy.

Thanks so much for sharing this cute Rottie.  Looking forward to following  her adventures with you AND more pictures!!!

Hey Tony! Hoppy Pawlidays to you and your new BFF! Oh my dog what is her name?

I don't know how I missed your previous post but seeing Sadie love that snow so much, I have no doubt that she is guiding your new girl into the wonderful, adventurous life that you are giving her. LUCKY LUCKY pup!

That snow is something else. Enjoy the fun and watch for signs that Sadie is just around the bend looking out for both of you. She knew exactly who to send your way.

I'm so glad you shared!

Hi. Happy New Year!

Her name is Stella.

She is meeting all Sadies friends. Here is a photo of her and Rocco(in the back)

And playing with Koa (the neighbor dog) in the snow.

This weekend, Sadies best dog friends (Jackson - black lab and Indy - pit bull) will be visiting. But I am sure she already smelled their scent in the house.

Hoppy New Year to you too!

What fun! She has such a welcome wagon ready to play with. You'll have to let us know how the introduction to Jackson and Indy goes. Sounds like a lot of barking and wrassling...and fun!!!

Congrats!

I just love how Stella is meeting all of Sadie's pals.  Suh a beautiful  way Sadie is still keeping her paws all over this gal she sent you.

You've put together a lovely rock garden for Sadie.  And to have Jackson and Indy paying tribute by sitting so perfectly  at her "resting place" .....just beautiful

Thank you for sharing how it's going.  And love the pictures and look forward to more👍

Hi,

Stella did good with Sadie's best dog friends Indy and Jackson. Although they are a lot older now and did not want to play with her. I think Indy ( pitbull ) still  misses Sadie. When they where with each other they did every thing together.

But if you notice in the photos, Stella is wearing Sadies harness. On Monday she chased my cousins daughter down a small hill on her snow saucer. Some how she  had a miss step, it looked like she hit the saucer with her left front paw and hurt her left front leg. icon_cry

It is a sad Deja Vu from Sadie because that is the same leg she had cancer in! I used Sadies harness to help her around and gave her some of her Vetprofin and Gabapentin

I had a vet appointment for Friday but she seemed a lot better so I canceled it. Today (Sunday) we went on a small leash walk and she did not seem to limp but then she got excited seeing the neighbor dog, Koa and  a slight limp came back. A little too much excitement and she seems to re aggravate  it. But it is a lot better than it was and she seems to be able to put a lot of weight on it. I think she has a sprain or strain probably in her shoulder. I feel so bad having to keep her inside and limit her and it is hard to calm her down.

I will see how it goes and possibly take her to the Vet this week. I think it will take a few weeks to mend.smiley13

First of all, that is THE sweetest picture!!  I love that the adorable Stella gets to pal around with the same friends Sadie had.  Good looking crew 👍

Yep, just continue to limit Stella's activity  (so hard to do) and keep up with the antii inflammatory.  These kinds of twists and sprains need some time to fully heal.  You're  on the right path👌  Keep us pisted.

And thanks for the update  and the  sweet photo💖

That is the sweetest group pic ever! What good doggies.

I hope Stella feels better today. Don't panic, it's probably just from the rough and tumble puppy play. I can only imagine how that must have felt to see her limp, I would have not felt good about that either! Cancer makes us super hyper vigilant.

Good job keeping an eye on things though! Let us know how she is doing.

Today would be Sadie's 10th birthday. Stella is paying her respects.   She is lucky to be walking in her Pawsteps. icon_lol Stella's 3rd birthday was on Saturday.

This is a painting my Artist friend, John Randal, just made of Sadie.

It is amazing that Sadie's photo, just clipped to a stake with a binder clip, made it through Tahoes second biggest winter!

Tony, it is so good to hear from you on this very special day. I hope that Sadie and all her friends are pawtying it up at the Rainbow Bridge! Hoppy birthday in heaven sweet girl!

I am so glad you made it through that wild winter, no doubt because your sweet guardian angel was looking out for you and Stella. Amazing about her photo!

LOVE that painting! Does your friend have a website? Feel free to share the URL, that is an heirloom he made for you. What a great artist.

May the stars shine extra bright on this very special day. Sadie is always in our hearts!
