Lacey, you are the most adorable girl--I don't think you could get any cuter!!! Energy plus--I'd love to bottle thatbig-grin Keep loving life beautiful girl:)

Joan and Lily

Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.

Thank you, she is a giant ball of energy about 90% of the time... She was allowed to go trail riding this afternoon so she's passed out right now!

The pirate picture is from an app called "Cartoonize Me," I have about a MILLION different pics of our dogs in all sorts of get ups! Lacey is the best to do it to though, I feel like she always takes pretty serious looking pics so putting crazy things on her is funny

Yes of course!! She is currently on a "cow hunt" with my boyfriend. I guess there's 4 cows that went through a fence so they are off to find them on 800 acres.. This is literally what Lacey lives for.. I wasn't sure about her going but, my boyfriend assured me he'd make her stop before she gets too tired!!

Cool thanks! That first pic is classic Tripawd!

Cow hunt? Fun! Where are you again? I forget. That sounds really neat.

What a beautiful girl. I like the way she poses, almost as if she's doing it for the camera. Good luck to her.

Thank you, she does always look like she is posing... We are located in upstate New York, about 1.5 hours above Albany. Lacey was a tired girl last night, her problem is she won't rest when she's tired unless we MAKE her rest. My boyfriend said while they were driving home everytime they'd just drive by some cows she'd go crazy. She is definitely a nut!!! She's just 2 years old but I was wanting to start giving her some kind of joint supplement just to keep her other 3 legs as in as good of shape as possible! Does anyone have any suggestions what to give her???

Ohh that's right I think you've told us you live up there (duuuuh!). It's so pretty in your part of the country, we love it there (Admin's sister lives in Troy).

As for supplements, some vets say use them now while others believe you shouldn't use them until there's a problem. Our Nutrition blog has lots of information about supplements, as does our new ebook, Loving Life on Three Legs. Oh check our Eating Healthy forum too for "glucosamine". Sorry I'd give ya more links but I've gotta run back to work!

Such a sweet, sweet face..---and she does look like she "poses" for the camera. That first picture is as though she's "Stuttin' her stump".

Lacey is certainly, living her life to the fullest and knows ow to enjoy the Siple things in life (although I don't know if cow hunting is simple)!!
More pictures Miss Lacey-----you are a star:-) :-) :

Cows beware....you cannot hide, you cannot run, Lacey girl will findyou:-) :-)

Thanks, Lacey would really appreciate the compliments!!

It is nice up here, especially right now and in the summer!! Fall and winter aren't my favorite times of the year but the past few winters actually haven't been too bad!

Here are a few more pics of Lace:

As a cute innocent 4 legged puppy:

Lacey enjoyed bothering things at a young age:

After she got hit by the car, but before amputation:

Annnddd last but not least, all our dogs on a wagon. Notice Lacey has bailing twine on her collar because she needs to be tied IN the wagon since she is the ring leader and when she smells something fun to chase she brings all the other dogs with her!!!

That is one beautiful pooch. Thanks for sharing these great photos and videos, it's great to see a tripawd a few months along the track. Our little Dotty is coming home from hoppsital today (fingers crossed) after her amputation yesterday, she lost her right rear leg to a non-specific nasty that has destroyed most of her tibia.

It's very helpful to see such an energetic (does she have an off-switch?!) and happy dog. I will keep these images in my head when we bring our newly minted tripawd home.

Thanks again, well done!

Virginia

If those photos aren't pure "dog being dog", I don't know what is!!

Wonderful--thanks for sharing the joy of dogs being blissfully hapy:-) :-) :-)

Thanks for the compliments...

Victoria, I'm sorry to hear about Dotty, as you can see though the amputation doesn't have to slow her down!! Lacey DOES have an off switch, just most of the time it's stuck in the ON position.. I remember being SOOO nervous to take her home after her surgery, I was 100% ready for the worst and she really wasn't anywhere near as bad as we thought she'd be. She was back to her old self in no time like I'm sure your Dotty will be!!
