I love the picture of her 'flowing' from the couch to the bed on the floor!

My current Tripawd Elly is a small pug mix who is very shy and skittish.  I adopted her at 10 months old, she lost her right rear leg at 7 months.  Anyway- in an effort to build her confidence we have been going to classes including Strength, Balance & Body Awareness. There was Elly, a couple other dogs about her size or slightly bigger, and a 6 month old Harlequin Dane!  Spark was his name and he was hilarious in the class, trying to figure out where those giant feet were supposed to go.  He towered over most of the balance equipment and just plowed though most of it. Here are some pictures of Elly working over one of the courses.  The giant purple peanut in the pictures barely came up to Spark's belly!

She's a doll! (but not doll sized)....I can't get over the size of her paws when she was a pup.

Active 10+ Pyr mix suddenly came up lame with ACL tear in left rear leg. Scheduled for a TPLO but final pre-op x-rays indicated a small suspicious area, possibly OSA, which could have caused the ACL tear. Surgeon opened the knee for TPLO but found soft bone. Biopsy came back positive for OSA. Became a Tripawd 9/18/14. Carbo6 with Cerenia and Fluids. Pain free and living in the moment. Crossed the Bridge on 7/12/15 after probable spread of cancer to her cervical spine. A whole lifetime of memories squeezed into 10 months. Here's her story: Eloise

Thank you, Mona is a cutie and is makes sure she gets a lot of beauty sleep. She's doing great with 3 legs and I'm hoping the amputation took all of the cancer. Only time will tell and we'll enjoy every moment of it. Congratulations to your friend having a 20 year old kitty.

The great dane service dogs are at http://www.serv.....oject.org/ plus they have live cameras on them at http://explore......puppy-room where you can click on a number of cameras (you'll see the dane photos below). The danes assist folks with MS, cerebal palsy, parkinsons, PTSD, Morquio Syndrome, wheelchair bound, etc.

Hugs back to you and beautiful Eurydice.

Hi Kerren and Mona,

I had a look at the links you sent me and was really moved by the video of the little girl and her beautiful Dane. How wonderful to see Danes can be of such help, I had no idea. One always sees Labradors and Golden Retrievers I had no idea Danes could to this kind of service, I am so glad !

And I had a look at the live cameras, ALL their Danes are totally gorgeous ! And what joy to see they only (or mainly?) have Harlequins, they are the most beautiful of all colours for me (my first Dane was a blue one, her name was Kinky) I have to say I spent a long, long time going from one camera to the next, they all look so happy and relaxed !

Thank you very much for sending me those links I am really impressed with their facilities and the beautiful work they do with the gorgeous furry boys and girls. Shame I live so far away otherwise I would definitely volunteer there too.

Sending you kisses and lots of cuddles to your gorgeous kitty heart
