Hi friends, it's been a few weeks since I've posted... We've been living life enjoying every minute with our Coco Bear. This weekend we had a turn of event, she has several different tumors on her amputation but one of the small ones about the size of a walnut actually bursted. Yeah didn't see that coming!!! We had been cleaning it like our vet said putting neosporin on it and one morning....yuck!! Well over the next few days it progressively became worse and turned into a crater. My vet, god bless him cause he loves her as much as we do sat with us and we talked bout what we could do. Up until three days ago she was having a full quality life playing , eating not realizing she had cancer cause remember only we know that 🙂 now she had this painful sore that was hurting not giving her a quality life but I couldn't put her to sleep for something that seems like a sore?!? The vet know how we feel bout putting her through more surgeries he offered an approach of a conservative surgery for palliative treatment (we know were not curing this very aggressive cancer) to remove this abseos crater sew her up so we can keep the stitched area clean. While he's there he will go ahead and remove the other tumors since she's already in surgery.

So Coco Bear goes to surgery tomorrow, I think I'm more scared now then I was when she did her amputation. At least then I felt I had hope. Now I'm just hoping I'm making the right decisions for her. I know we can't leave this wound untreated and the vet said her heart, lung, tummy all sound good. I hope she handles this surgery as good as her last.

Thanks for listening,
Coleen
