Yes, i was thinking that fluid is just coming down the leg. It doesn’t seem to bother him as of right now, i did some rubbing and it seemed to move around pretty easily! Almost more like some edema rather than swelling. I caught Jerry in the chat earlier and we agreed that was probably it for the moment, gunna keep a close eye on it though!
Sally that would be amazing! I will absolutely take you up on that offer! 🙂
Ohhhh Jerry!!! Calling on Jerry!! So I get these delightful pictures of Chisum to post to my blog photo stash where my photos are stored.and the blog page is completely unrecognizable!!!
In the past I coud take a photo from someone's email, put it in my photo gallery....tomato "Sally's photos"...then "dashboard"....then add new.......anyway, after a couple of more steps coud transfers the photo to a post
Sorry, TMI, ..but help!!.
Excuse the side track here..we can delete it once I get these photos od thos handsome boy posted.

And if this my link works, here is Chisum tussling and fussing with his toy.

Ohhhh you have no idea how much I needed to see this handsome boy today! He melts my !!! And Nellie's too, she got up when she heard his sweet barks!
How's the swelling today?
Thanks for sharing the pics Sally. I have no idea what you meant in the post above. But your photos look fine to me when looking in your blog dashboard.
For some reason the second video link didn't work. Double check the URL or just send me the video and I can post it.
Nellie ❤️ I’m glad she got a kick out of his rowdy time! Also, chisum is so proud to share with the world!
Sally thank you so much for sharing! His second video didn’t work for me either
The swelling is still there, but still moves around with rubbing and putting a bit of pressure on it. I haven’t tried the warm wash cloth yet, but probably will tonight when I get home from work. He’s been snoozing with his other momma most the day, I get lots of updates with sleepy little boy pictures!
Hmmmmm.....let's try this.

So glad to hear he looks good! ☺️ I was worried about his gate of course but I think he’s doing pretty well so far! He’s definitely back to his normal self personality wise! Going a little stir crazy the past couple days wanting to be on the move more than we are letting him.
The swelling is definitely down, and he hasn’t shown any signs of pain on that leg! Thank goodness, I’m not sure my brain could handle an injury on top of the amputation lol
This is all soooooo great! Yes, he looks fantastic!
I know others are seeing how he's recovering and feeling really pawsitive that their own pupperz can have the same type of uneventful healing.
Good move to go slow with his recovery. It takes a lot of patience but it really pays off.
Chizzy boy had a good weekend! He had grandpawrents visit on Saturday, and was excited with a very waggy butt!
He is moving around well without the towel under the belly support. But definitely getting more stir crazy and maybe a little bored lol! it’s hard to not let him be a dog, but trying our best to keep him calm until he sees the vet again.
He’s getting his stitches out this Thursday and going to see the oncologist on Friday!
All progress in my eyes the past few days! I was so thankful to read posts by other during my research and prep time, I hope Chisum can be a shining light with lots of pawsitivity (and also worried momma freak outs that turned out to be nothing) for other pawrents who are making this journey as well! ❤️
Progress indeed!! We know it seems like furever to start seeing tail wags and waggly butts return, but Chisum is proof it does happen! And in his case, his recovery has been the way we hope they go!
Good job everypawdy!!
Hugs
