Today is Lily's 13 month ampuversary--I feel so very, very blessed to be celebrating today. She is my beautiful tripawd warrior princess-so brave and sweet. "Miss March" (from Tripawd calendar fame) is currently resting in her bed with all her toys heaped around her. Our pitbull, Remmy, knows not to go near Lily when she is in her bed. Lily made this clear when we brought Remmy home 2 1/2 years ago when she ran over to greet Lily, and Lily did not respond in a positive way. Remmy, our "fierce" pitbull immediately rolled over on her back, and Lily has reigned supreme ever since.
We are having treats, scratchies, and lots of love today. So please join us as we celebrate this ampuversary, and spoil all your furbabies! Thank you all for your support and for always being there. We also hold in our hearts all the angel tripawds-they will forever be remembered.

Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.
Happy Ampuversary Lily!! Joan, you know Lily has a special place in my heart as we went through the amp at the same time. I adore sweet Lily and love celebrating every single month that she beats this mess of a disease. Good girl Lily!! Keep kickin' butt!
Lisa
Zeus was a Husky mix diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at age 11. A visible lung met and suspicious spot on his liver meant a poor prognosis-six weeks was our vet's best guess. We decided to fight for our boy and his right front leg was amputated on 12/1/11. We did six rounds of chemo, changed his diet and spoiled him completely rotten. We were blessed with 10 great months after diagnosis. Against the odds, the lung met remained a single met and grew very little over those months. A wonderful furbaby with the most gentle spirit, he fought with a strength that we never imagined he possessed. We have no regrets...

You are all so sweet!! Lisa, I smile everytime I see Zeus's pictures-what a personality! I also feel the same connection; Lily and Zeus went through everything so close together. I think of you and Zeus with smiles and tears. Karen, I hope we can keep the pugs full of treats for many months to come Also, please add Chance to the celebration-treats all around!

Congrats! That's such good news! In honor of your ampuversary, we had a healthy dinner and healthy treats: beets, broccoli, and liver!
ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
Yay Lily, Hoppy Ampuversary. So glad you are doing so great. Keep going strong.

From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.

Karen and Spirit Magnum
Magnum: 30th May 2002 to 5th May 2012. Lost her back left leg to osteosarcoma on 5th Sep 2011. Lung mets found on 20th Mar 2012 but it was bone mets in the hip that ended her brave battle. Magnum's motto - "Dream as if you'll live for ever, live as if you'll die today" (James Dean). Loyal, loving, courageous and spirited to the end. My beloved heart dog, see her memoirs from Rainbow Bridge ...... http://princess.....pawds.com/
Way to go Lily. You are an inspiration to us all. A toast....to many more anniversaries and tummy rubs.
