It's been a little over a month since Mac passed and I think I'm strong enough to start posting pics and video of him as a memorial and educational addition. It's very short and was taken about a month after amputation. He only had about a week and a half out of the eight weeks post-op he lived that he was doing ok, and this was during that time.
Thank you for sharing the video of Mac, I loved it. What a good lookin' boy..
Shilo diagnosed with osteosarcoma 9/4/2009, amputation 9/9/2009. ShiloAnne lost her battle 11/23/2009 where she regained her fourth leg and is patiently waiting for her parents to join her. We will always love you baby girl.
Thanks for sharing!

What a guy! That's a great video-- it's good to remember the good days. I'm glad to hear your strength is coming back. Thanks for sharing a closer look at one of "our boys".
Cemil and mom Mary, Mujde and Radzi….appreciating and enjoying Today
Hi Jackie,
Thanks for sharing the video of Mac. He was such a beautiful boy! How are you holding up?
Jake's Mom
Jake, 10yr old golden retriever (fractured his front right leg on 9/1, bone biopsy revealed osteosarcoma on 9/10, amputation on 9/17) and his family Marguerite, Jacques and Wolfie, 5yr old german shepherd and the newest addition to the family, Nala, a 7mth old Bengal mix kittie. Jake lost his battle on 11/9/2009, almost 8 weeks after his surgery. We will never forget our sweet golden angel… http://jakesjou.....ipawds.com ….. CANCER SUCKS!
Aw thanks guys. He was definitely beautiful--in that clip he had a haircut all over and then was shaved at the bottom for the surgery so his tail looks humongous, like a squirrel. I wish I could have taken longer clips of him walking but he wouldn't go but just a few steps before lying back down. I uploaded another vid to youtube of him just being himself (before surgery) and I need to make a blog to start posting the pics. I'm still crying every day...it's so lonely without him and it's still hard for me to get out of bed. I know it's hard for everyone though who has lost their loves on here.
Jacki,
Mac was so beautiful. I am glad that you are starting to heal. Some people gve us a garden stone that says "Dogs leave pawprints on our hearts". It is so true. Our grief is strong because our love was strong. I wish we would have take video of Emily. You were smart to do it. I guess I thought we had more time. Newbies, don't follow my example. Take lots of pictures and videos.
Debra & Angel Emily
Debra & Emily, a five year old doberman mix, who was diagnosed with an osteosaecoma. She had a right rear leg amputation on May 19, 2009. On November 10, 2009 she earned her wings and regained her fourth leg.
Thank you for posting this, he was adorable, sweet face. Healing is a long, hard path. Hang in there and try to remember the good times. I am looking forward to seeing more pics of him when you are ready.
