I guess now you know exactly how long you can go AWOL from this site before we track you down. . .

Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016.  Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016.  Lung mets August 25, 2016.  Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016.   Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.

Wherever they are, they are together.

Shelby Lynne; Jack Russell/Shiba Inu mix. Proud member of the April Angels of 2014.

October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

wow, we're all on the same wavelength! I've been wondering/worrying about the Megastar crew the last few days too!

yep, AWOL is allowed for only the briefest of periods around here. If there was ever a group of worriers, this is it.

Glad to see y'all! heartheartheart

hugs!

Elsie Pie...that looks suspiciously like CANADIAN snow!!! Mmmnnnnn, has your mum joined the UnderChunnelTunnel? DaBears may be heading that way sooooooooon...this is the only pawsible explanation for the slightly long silence....it is hard for sound to carry in the UnderChunnelTunnel...but sometimes, with the ears cocked slightly to the ground, one can hear in the distance a woofle...a snuffle...a hupsie....and the Elsie Pie and the MEGASTAR!!! Me thinks there should be not only a Kill Barney tour but also a Where in the World is the Elsie Pie and the MegaStar book. And, if you are all in Newfoundland swimming with the goofy Newfies, DaBears are going to be digging under the infamous Canadian Wall soon to join, wait...no Canadian Wall?!? Never mind...just know we think of you often and fondly. (P.S. EmmaRose finished her SRT for the brain tumor a few weeks ago but in the continuing DaBears saga must now go in for surgery next Tuesday for her thyroid tumor. Sigh...) Welcome back!!!

Wow! What lovely, warm and welcoming comments. Thank you all. You sure know how to make three girls feel loved.

We've actually been away filming the latest MegaStar movie, to be released on her first ampuversary in a couple of weeks time. I had to put the girls in media lockdown as Elsie kept getting over-excited and threatening to spill the beans.

It's so good to be back. I've seen Isa's banner, Teri, and it's wonderful to see her sweet, sweet face, smiling down on us all. As for EmmaRose, well she is one ChampionBear. We'll be thinking of you on Tuesday. By next weekend, I fully expect her to be back working on the UnderChunnelTunnel. A couple of scoops of those GiantBearPaws and she'll be popping up in our garden.

Sending love to you all,

Meg, Clare and Elsie Pie xxx

I knew it! A film in production. I'm so excited and will wait patiently.

I told Mona that I could film her showing off her talents. She suggested that she could show Elsie and Meg how she can knock a hummingbird out of the sky by doing a "hupsie". I immediately got rid of the hummingbird feeder and Mona has been fired.

Hugs to you all,

Kerren and Tripawd Killer Kitty Mona heartheart
