Do any of you have suggestions on the use of indoor outdoor carpet? I am looking at the indoor/outdoor type carpet. Do any of you have outdoor like carpet like jute or fibrous type? It is not like regular carpet so I am wondering if traction
is as good on it.

I went to the carpet store and just bought remnants one that covered my tile floor and a runner for the hard wood in the kitchen . It all worked just fine. Two different kinds .
The runner was short like an indoor outdoor or commerical and the other was a short nap because that's a colder room. She had no problem using either one, also a throw at her feeding bowl. She lost her leg in Jan of this year and is doing great.

Never used it here, hopefully others will have better feedback.

I agree that a carpet outlet or remnant store that has a lot of remnant options may work better than indoor/outdoor. We have a screen porch with am somewhat weird layout and the rugs, throws and runners I got (all made from indoor remnants) for multiple levels of our house and the porch were really reasonable.
Deb and Angel Lexie* Diagnosed at age 13. Tried radiation first; wish we had amputated upon diagnosis (even with lung mets). Joined Club Tripawd April 2014 & Lexie loved life on 3 legs! Advice: Start physical therapy as soon as your vet clears it, especially hydrotherapy if available :-) See Lexie pics here.
