Yeah, up from 115 lbs to 118 lbs! Do the ho e cook chicken, beef, veggies etc and using Orijen Six Fish or Merrick or Castor and Pollix organic.....all treats are the "healthy" stuff.

I've had pugs for quite awhile now and weight is always an issue for them (for me to, but I digress...).
The thing that has worked best for us is to not feed kibble at all for meals, I still use it for treats and training. I originally went off of it to try and solve Obie's allergy problems (turns out it wasn't kibble) but I found that I could feed more volume of food with less calories.
I now use Honest Kitchen Preference and add my own meat. I also use some canned food because it works the best for dispensing pills to the pugs. And I use what I call Trouble Beans. Named for Spirit Trouble who was able to lose weight in part by eating green beans. I use the canned, no salt added kind. I hate green beans and don't really want to cook them : ). The dogs love them- I add to meals if I need to get weight down because they are very filling and have almost no calories. I also use them for treats. When Obie had knee surgery and was on crate rest for 8 weeks then limited activity I reduced his normal food portion and upped the green bean portion. He still had a full bowl and didn't gain an ounce during the three months of restricted activity.
Granted this is much easier when you are talking about pug sized portion.! By my calculations one Hannah = eight pugapalooza!

Libby went up a few pounds at her last visit too. I didn't change her diet, I changed her daddy's habit of giving her table food! He now only gives her a veggie off his plate. I know that doesn't help you but just want you to know you're not alone. My quadpod, Sammie, is a chunky munky.
Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
Our simple solution is just less kibble. Pre-Amp, Jackson got 1c Am and PM. Now, he's at 3/4c AM and PM. I like Karen's idea of reducing, further, or cutting out kibble all together and supplementing with veggies. Think "like humans"! How do we lose weight? Cut back on the calorically dense stuff (juices, pastas, breads, alcohol), so for dogs, that's kibble. So feed her less and supplement with veggies. Jackson's been enjoying all this summer produce as well as frozen. It's super healthy and cheap! Frozen kale, spinach, sugar snap peas, green beans, bell peppers, broc, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, etc. I think for J (and Libby can attest) all this fish oil is caloric and adds up! We've found a good balance now and that's largely due to a reduction in kibble per meal.

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
Weight loss is simple: EAT LESS FOOD.
It can be home prepped or dry kibble... just give less food. Really, its that simple.
TJ is down to 82lbs from 94 pre amp. Less weight is less stress/strain on the remaining limbs.
Just measure out about 1/2 cup less and see if the weight starts to drop. If not, drop another 1/2 cup. But give it at least 3 weeks to allow the change to take effect.

Happy Hannah saw this and is laughing so hard her wriggly jelly belly is shaking the whole house! She said to tell "Blubber Brudda'" he has the finest blubber in the land! She's falling in love over here!

We too had to address weight with Snoop, he wasn't overweight, just wanted to knock off some to make those other 3legs less stressed. We reduced his kibble and like Karen we use stringbeans we buy them in a bag that I microwave, nice and easy. We use organic and its not much more, were trying everything to keep it all natural.. He lost 4 lbs in 3.5 weeks, I only wish I was as good! We also don't do snacks like they are the kiss of death to the backside!
We also used the green beans when Murphy needed to lose some post-op weight. He absolutely LOVES them! I planted a bed of them this spring, thinking that I could freeze them for use this winter. He thinks they are special treats. The only problem is that we may not have very many to freeze. He has discovered where the treats come from. Earlier this week he got into trouble for helping himself from the "treat jar". Since then he has been good about waiting until I pick him some, but the very first place he goes when he gets out into the yard is the bean bed. He just goes out and lies down next to it until someone gives him a treat. Never would have dreamed that he would like them raw...can't get a fresher treat, though.
His big buddy, Gus, thinks they are great, too. Gus has a terrible allergy to chicken, and so many of the dog items have chicken in them. This has been a real bonus for him.

Atlas gained a few on his last weigh in too. I did the cut back on kibble thing too, but He's definitely getting more calories back with the 5000mg fish oil daily and all the treats to give meds, mushrooms, etc.. I love the green bean info! Time to go get some trouble beans for Atlas. Happy Hannah you want some?
