We all love and miss you too Zeus..... Deb, I know this past year has been one of the hardest ever for you, I am hoping your heartache has eased, and more of Zeus's happy memories are taking over your heart. So many of us have been through all the "firsts" along this journey, and as difficult as it is/was, we never stop missing our special Tripawds, but I can say, life has gotten easier as time goes on. My own Tripawd angel Polly will be gone 3 years already in another week and a half, on the 16th, and still not a day goes by that I don't think of her, but it is easier now. They definitely leave the biggest paw prints on our hearts, all 3 paws 💜❤️💙🐾
Thinking of you,
Bonnie, Angel Polly, Pearl, and Zuzu 💜🐾
So sorry. I am approaching one year of Otis' broken leg and diagnosis. This "anti-anniversaries" really hurt.
Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016. Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016. Lung mets August 25, 2016. Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.
Wherever they are, they are together.
I get it too Deb. I posted on your anniversary thread too. Max and Zeus are "rainbow" buddies they passed less than two weeks apart. I know they are friends and both of them are watching over us along with all our Angels. I'm sure leaving earth as a Tripawd gives them instant access to that special group up there that are made up of all our warriors. Love you friend!

(((((( HUGS))))) One year is hard. BUT YOU MADE IT!!! I remember making it through the first year and thinking ... wow... I did it. I was proud of ME! And you should be proud of you! We all are. It will always be sad ... but not as sad (i hope). We send you lots of love in this angelversary!!!
xoxo

Shelby Lynne; Jack Russell/Shiba Inu mix. Proud member of the April Angels of 2014.
October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
