Oh Deb, it's hard so hard. We understand and we are here to support you in anyway possible. We can never push the grief away, only happy memories of Zeus can do that, slowly, but surely.

We know how the waves of grief still.overtake you. We know how the intensity of this entire journey leads ro an intense grief that seems like it will never go away..

And while you are still engulfed in sadness, you are here in the site trying to jelp others. Along with that selfless compassion you are showi g to others, your are also reliving the loss of you Zeusy everytime o e of our family members heads to tje Bridge. You are reliving all.of the anxiety when a dog is diagnosed, reliving, all the trauma of being faced with the decision amputation, and reliving the hope you had for Zeusy Bear to beat this piece of crap disease.

I know it's important for you to carry on the legacy of Zeus. Make sure you are giving yourself time to move through the grief. I guess I'm trying to say make sure you are taking care of you FIRST, okay? We aren't gonna forget Zeus! You don't forget heroes

I know we would all love to see some more photos of that sweet voy! And the crowd roars, "Yes! More pictures of thst magnificent boy with the happy smile!"

This journey unveils a depth to grief in ways we never knew existed. We try sooooo hard, sooo darn hard, to do everything ppssible, but this piece of crap disease often takes over in ways we can do nothing about.

I know your heart is still broken. I do know that happy memories of baby Zeus are helping to piece it back together...slowly but surely.

TRY and remember that Zeus wants...no, NEEDS you to move through those moments where you are stuck in thoughts that take you to the saddest depths of despair. Stuck in that place where we relive the saddest moments instead of the happiest moments. That gives a power to that piece of crap disease thst we DO have control over. Not sayin' it's easy, not by a long shot.

Lisa and Deb, not saying it's something we get past, not at all.. It IS something that we, eventually, can push further into the past so the happiest of times can move forward. And the catalyst is because that's what Pofi and Zeus would want!!

Zeus, Pofi, Otis & Tess, ALL gave us so much joy and so many smiles that can never, ever, ever be taken away!

Wish by sharing the grief we could help take it away, but we can't. We can share in our own individual understanding in how much these losses hurt in so many different and personal ways. Maybe, somehow that at least let's you know you are not alone.
