All the best David.

WOW DAVID! Chills head to toe! I loooove how Rocky connects with you with pennies...and pretty consistently too! Seems like you're still getting one once a week, right?
Really warmed my heart to read this tonight
I find it interesting that Happy Hannah has almost never sent me pennies. Yest since Rocky's been at the Bridge, she's sent me several! In fact, I just found one today and a other one yesterday!!! 🙂
Rocky is doing an excellent job monitoring the "penny vault"! Thanks to Rocky, Happy Hannah has now learned how to toss me pennies through a pnother dimension! Saluting you Mr Rocky!! 🙂
Hugs

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
I guess we've discovered what Rocky's job at the Bridge is then ... Penny Monitor. He has to make sure everyone knows how to properly leave pennies. Although, I suspect he has a side job involving tennis balls too.
Very proud of him for apparently showing Hannah how to dispense those pennies.
The pennies had slowed down until the other night. But the more I think about things, the more I realize he's been sending me signs.

Rocky had his right front leg amputated on Valentine's Day 2017 after being diagnosed with osteosarcoma.
He joined the September Saints on September 3, 2017.
He is the toughest, bravest, sweetest and best friend I'll ever know.
Oh my gosh has he! Rocky's presence is definitely there, and on those days when he doesn't leave you signs he's off with his buddies having a great time in tennis ball heaven 🙂

I think that is just the coolest thing! I have never had anything like that happen to me. What has happened to me, still does sometimes, is when I'm totally somewhere else in thought, i will catch one of them out of the corner of my eye. Sounds crazy, right? After the double take, its gone. I don't know if it's memories or longing in my heart, maybe it's just them tapping meet on the shoulder once in a while but it makes my heart skip a beat. Find a special jar for your pennies and put it someplace that you will see it often and be able to smile☺

Petra, Stewie and his loving Pack. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Petra!
Thank you! we are doing okay. Trying to stay busy. Some days are better than others :/. We planted some tulip bulbs in memory of Toddy today. I miss his sweet soul but I know he is romping around with all his friends ! I’m sure Rocky and Toddy are finding plenty of spectacular things to check out together!!! ❤️🌈 Thank you for checking on us!! Xoxo. Sending you and your pack our love!!!
Heather & September Saint Toddy
No doubt Rocky and Toddy are having a blast at the Bridge.
I love the tulip bulbs for Roddy. I picked up a mini treasure chest for a couple of bucks that I use to store Rocky's pennies.
I haven't been around much of late. I have good days and bad days. Really hard to believe it's been nearly two months since he went to the Bridge.

I hope you got a large treasure chest to store all the pennies that Rocky's been sending you!
Aren't you goi g out of town sometime in November? To see your brother? I think you mentioned after you got back you may (emphasis on "may") be more open to bringing another dog into your life...kne that Rocky picks out.
Did I dream that or is it still a possibility?

Okay David!! After my losg above,I went to google to look for pictures of "dogs in treasure chest"'...then tried to get specific with Cocker Spaniel sand treasure chest. Google didn't really have a specific match.
LOOK WHAT SHOWED UP THOUGH!!! Guess Rocky doesn't always use pennies Yeah, three paws and all....just sayin'

What an awesome sign, Sally!
The treasure chest has plenty of room for now. They did have bigger ones, so I can always go back if need be.
I visited my brother a few weeks ago. I'm probably going to visit one of my college friends late November/early December. I'm 99 percent sure Rocky will find another dog for me. And I'm 99 percent sure he/she will be another shelter pup. But it will probably be 2018 before that happens.
One of the things I've been doing while grieving is taking stock of my life and what I want. I'm kicking around a career change and maybe moving somewhere less humid (I hate the summers here). After all that has been resolved, I'll be more open to adding another dog (or maybe two?).

David - it's always good to take stock of one's life. I, too, believe Rocky will find a new friend (or two) for you; maybe when you least expect it. I replied to your post on Nitro's blog, if you have time to pop back there. Good luck moving forward, there really is hope at the end of this tunnel.
Paula and Warrior Angel Nitro
Nitro 11 1/2 yr old Doberman; right front amp June 2014. Had 6 doses carboplatin, followed by metronomic therapy. Rocked it on 3 legs for over 3 years! My Warrior beat cancer, but couldn't beat old age. He crossed the Bridge peacefully on July 25, 2017, with dignity and on his terms. Follow his blog entitled "Doberman's journey"
"Be good, mama loves you".....run free my beautiful Warrior
I couldn't have said it better! I swear my Gazoo sent Huckleberry to us. He's probably up there with the rest of my babies slapping his paw on his thigh saying " See mama? This one will keep you busy!!" When it happens you'll know. Don't rush it, you will know when it's right. Until then you are getting beautiful pennies from heaven reminding you of how much he loved and appreciated you. You got your jar yet?
