My sweet sweet Tater Tot,
I have been praying and hoping that since your email you would being feeling better. I'll try harder. Please, please let us know if we can do anything to help. If you think Tate would enjoy a visitor, we are only a couple hours away. Anything we can do to keep all of your spirits up.
I know how much Tate loves the water but it sounds like the cabin is just too far away right now.
Big hugs and love from all of us to all of you!!
Sorry, I wasn't deliberating neglecting Tate's blog...I have the flu. What's up with that?
Anyway, Tate is doing fine, and I'm crawling back to bed. Thank you for all your kind thoughts, you are really keeping us going here. Ginger, we'd love to see you but you might catch the flu, and that would be bad!

TATE ~ Forever in our hearts.
Glad to hear he is hanging in there ok. Belly rubs for him, and clear liquids for you!! And lots of medicinal napping all around!
Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
sounds like medicinal naps for everybody!!!
charon & gayle
Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
Poor Jan! Get well and give Tate a hug!
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Jan...
I guess this is just one of the reasons that I have stayed away so much since Cooper left, the pain of my friends here as they cope with their loss or impending loss is as real to me as it was when Cooper left. As far as advice... wow, I can only say that you guys know Tate better than anyone does, and he knows you. I questioned and second guessed myself for I guess the last month that Cooper was with us, but in the end we knew when it was time, and by the grace of God he left peacefully without any help. How could anyone give good advice on an issue this delicate, I know the depth of your love for Tate and I know that whatever you do it will be the right thing. We took Cooper to the cabin the week before he left and he enjoyed it, the only thing I would have done differently is , when I took him swimming he seemed to want to just lay at the waters edge and I had him get up and go in, in retrospect I think it would have been perfect for him had I just let him lie and look at the lake for awhile. I am so very sorry to hear that you are at this crossroad.. please know we are with you in thoughts and prayers
