Honey has gone to Heaven today. She fought a valiant battle, but finally her body was forced to succumb to the beast inside her. We are heart-broken and will miss her, incredibly. She was a dog with the sweetest of temperaments; there was not a mean bone in her body. She approached life with passion, zest and love.
Letting go of her was one of the most difficult things we've had to do. To say that she will be missed is a masterpiece of an understatement.
We are grateful to have found the Tripawd family and we know you share our in our pain and loss. Heaven is celebrating her arrival.

Love Never Ends
Oh I'm so very sorry to read this ....my heart is breaking with you. Heaven sure is celebrating her beautiful golden arrival. Heaven is very lucky today. I was so hoping that she had more time with you.....please take comfort in knowing that she's still with you and will always be with you. Your loving piggy won't be going anywhere anytime soon. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Sending you lots and lots of golden hugs.
Kami, Mackenzie & Kobe
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Ohhhhhhhhh.....
Our hearts break for you. We had been hoping for a miracle, something to give her more time with her pack, and are deeply sorry that the cancer got so aggressive. I try not to think of it as the cancer winning, more like Honey decided that her energy was going to be better spent being a Spirit Tripawd, protecting you and all the other Tripawds out there. The cancer can only survive in a physical reality, but a Spirit lives on forever in our hearts. Now that is a true victory!
Heaven has another sweet angel tonight. May she chow down on anything her dear heart wants, and may the Tripawd Spirit Kingdom be having the biggest feast it's ever seen!
Thank you for becoming a part of this community and sharing her story, Honey's spirit will always be with us.

Oh, my heart aches for you. I'm so terribly sorry. I know doggie heaven is celebrating but it doesn't make our earthly selves want to. We do share in your loss. She was a beautiful, beautiful little piggy girl.
Thank you for sharing her with us even if it was such a short time. No amount of time is ever enough.
My deepest condolences.
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

I cannot say it much better than Jerry. These are the sentiments that I expressed as we left for a few days where there would be no internet. Please accept our deepest thoughts of sympathy at this very difficult time. The memories that you created with Honey during her time with you will help you through the very difficult time of grieving. I hope that you can take some comfort in the knowledge of how much Honey enjoyed her life with you, how hard you all battled to keep your pack together, and that the gifts that Honey gave you will remain with you forever.
Prayers for your family,
Spirit Cherry's Dad
I'm so sorry. I feel your loss and know that no words can relieve the deep sorrow that you have.
Thank you for sharing her with us and allowing us to love her with you. May the memories you have created help to soothe the gaping wound in your heart.
I'm sure she is playing with all of the other Tripawd heroes that have gone before her all while keeping a watchful eye on her human family.
Thinking of you and sending sad hugs your way.

Tai – 9 yr old lab. Diagnosed Osteosarcoma Dec 18/09. Front right leg amputated Dec 21/09. Started chemo Jan 7/10. Lung mets discovered Sept 16/10. Valiant to the end on Oct 26/10 when cancer reappeared in a leg and we made the decision to set her free. Forever in my heart where not even cancer can take her from me.
We are so saddened to hear about Honey. I had been thinking of Honey often, as I think she & Skyler were separated at birth (based on what you have shared about her - sounds like they are two peas in a pod). I had asked Skyler to go find her when the time came on Tuesday night. Well, when I logged on this morning to read forums and post this message, Skyler's picture was on the banner! I'm telling you, they ARE with us all the time! Take comfort in knowing that you have a very special angel up there to watch over you. Slowly the grief will be replaced with warm, fun memories. She'll be in your heart always!
Sending many, many golden hugs your way!
Cathy/Jane/Spirit Skyler/Chloe
Bless you for all you did for sweet Honey, may she run free of pain and rest in peace at the Bridge.
