Trixie's wrist always warm

I've noticed Trixie's wrist is always warm unlike her other joints. I'm trying to keep her off it until the support braces arrive but that's not so easy. It's winter here so it's more noticeable.

My concern is to make sure sure she's not in too much pain but also to not medicate her so she hops about even more.

I can buy anti-inflammatories and pain meds for animals here but they won't be the brand names you may know and many are not dog specific.

Should I be giving her something, even if it's just at night when she moves around much less?

Yes it is probably inflamed. Can you tell me the generic meds that you have available such as meloxicam or carprofen?  What is her estimated weight?

She is 12.8 kg

I will try tomorrow to find out about the meds.... is either type a preference? I might be able to grab something in one trip. My local vet is not available but doesn't have supplies anyhow.

I have an 'agroveternaria' nearby, they'll have anti-inflammatories but will not be helpful for small animal recommendations.

Either one is fine and carprofen is about 1 mg per pound twice daily; meloxicam tabs must be dosed more carefully but the liquid is fine.
