Yo People!
Me and my humans will be away tomorrow. Something about a moon and a sun and we're headin' to "totality" whatever that is, in Wyoming. That's like HOURS away. So we're gettin up early and heading out.
So if you don't hear from us, it's because the sun and the moon swallowed us up and sucked us into a galaxy far far away!
Hahaha. Well probably not. But I'm curious about this eclipse thing.
If you get to see too, let us know.

Jasper Lily will be (most likely as I am at work) spending her day in the laundry basket trying to find her zen. This particular shift in the planets, the mercury in retrograde and upcoming eclipse has created even more loco behavior than usual with my little sidekick! Looking for some zen at the beach last night was beyond terrifying to her so we came home. She must sense something I do not but hopefully.. once this passes... we will be back to our normal level of crazy and "seeing of dead people". 🙂

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' SPECIAL GLASSES FOR OUR ECLIPSE!!! NO SIRREE! MYRTLE, FRANKIE AND I LOOKED STRAIGHT UP INTO THE SUN AND THE MOON WITH OUR BARE NAKED EYES (or where we perceived them to be vehind the clouds! 🙂
Beautiful sunny day .....until right before the partial eclipse was to start here at my house......then the clouds and the rain came in!
Ao this is what PEAK time looked like at my house! And yeah, somewhere behind the clouds is a SPECTACULAR MAGICAL ECLIPSE (or at least partial)!! And from what I'm hearing, avout five or six miles down the road, there was no rain and the clouds weren't very heacy and you coukd get some glimpses!! GRRRR......
Okay, have to go inside now. It's pouring down rain and completely cloudy!!! GRRRR!! Can't wait to see yiur photos WYATT! 🙂

A woman at work had some extra glasses. I grabbed a pair and watched from my backyard when I went home at lunch to check on Rocky.
Rocky came out into the yard with me. He was more interested in the bug - that he eventually ate, I think - than the sun.
David and Rocky (and Baxter now too!)
Rocky had his right front leg amputated on Valentine's Day 2017 after being diagnosed with osteosarcoma.
He joined the September Saints on September 3, 2017.
He is the toughest, bravest, sweetest and best friend I'll ever know.

I am/was lucky. My city was right in the path of totality! I was at work watching in our parking lot with my co-workers. I kinda wanted to stay home just to see how Biscuit and the cats would react.
I will say it was awesome to see!

Seeing that first hand eye witness photo really is SPECTACULAR!!! That must have truly been an experience of a lifetime!!!!! Thank you soooooo much for sharing the experience with that .MAGICAL photo!! It makes it a lot more "real" for those of us who weren't avle to see it.

Wyatt? Adorable? He says "No m'am, I'm handsome maybe, but not adorable."
Speaking of him...he didn't react AT ALL to the celestial event, but he did get extremely interested in what everyone else was doing. When people started cheering and hollering, he was more wound up about that than the amazing thing going on above his head!
