PURRKINS BACK DOING ZOOMIES???      SPECTACULAR  NEWS!!!👏👏👏   And eating FULL MEALS???  WOO HOO indeed!!!😎

And boy oh boy, I dont blame you about making sure Purrkins can handle the anesthesia!  You do need that complication  ever again!!   I've forgotten,  what kind of dental work did he need?

Still can't  believe all the ordeals you and Mark..and Purrki s and Saxton....  have had recently!!   I think I would  rely more on whether Saxtoon sleeps on the register or not as opposed to the detectors!!

Soooo. glad  Purrkins is zooming and eating!😁😁😁

Hugs

Hah how could we EVER ignore that sweet face of his? I'm so hoppy he's back to himself. What a relief! YESSS!!!!

I know what you mean about not trusting much these days, it's so hard. You do everything right and then blammo, something like this happens.  But like you said all we can do is move forward and learn from it.  We've gotta trust in the goodness of this moment, just like Purrkins and all the other critters who totally get it. They are such amazing teachers for all of us.

What a relief Holly. I'm so glad his dental can wait and you guys can all relax a little. Once you have that convo about his next sedation I'll be interested in reading about how it went. Thanks for sharing so much with us. (((hugs)))

YES! Thanks, Sallysmiley4😘🙌🏻

Purrkins has had resorptive lesions in the past, and this is what we all thought was going on with Purrkins originally.😶

There is nothing we can do to help with these lesions, brushing, etc. Radiographs will confirm/show if the suspected tooth/teeth will have to come out. That's the only fix for those. Purrkins has lost 2 teeth to those already...😟

Still can't  believe all the ordeals you and Mark..and Purrki s and Saxton....  have had recently!!   I think I would  rely more on whether Saxtoon sleeps on the register or not as opposed to the detectors!!

YES, thanks for this, Sally, you are 1000% right! Yes, Saxton is the weatherman and the co man!
EXCELLENT POINT!🙌🏻 WE CAN & DO TRUST SAXTON!
BETTER THAN any monitor or satellite!😺😺😺 This gives me a little peace!!😘

Soooo. glad  Purrkins is zooming and eating!😁😁😁

😘😁😁😁❣️ US TOO! WHOO HOO~🙌🏻

WE NEVER do;) 😽 YESSS🙌🏻😁

Thanks for understanding, Rene!😘🤯🥺

YEP, and we are one foot, paw in front of the other.

They are the best teachers if we pay attention:) I am good to question lots of things, with cats especially, we have to be dang detectives. I did not question Saxton not hanging by the registers?!

When these seizures started, i was questioning what could have changed. Why now!! Food, supplements, etc., but Saxton was not showing any symptoms.  Dr matt asked the same questions anything change in the environment? As in new cleaning products., more wifi, etc. NOPE
& YES - APPARATNLY CO WAS IN THE HOUSE FFS. 🤬SORRY AGAIN BUT IT DOES HELP TO SPEW SOME!

I know this was our hope & massive relief to hear Dr. R tell us. You bet i will!

Again more lessons to learn, and we are good students;) We will pass on our lessons & hopefully spare someone else in the future!

loads of love 🫂

Hey, I was just re-reading this topic, it's still amazing 🙂

So what happened with the Flippity Fish? Do the boys like it? Anyone else have it? If so, please share vids!

And the mouse aquarium?

Hey Brad,
We did the flippity fish but waited to open it because Purrkins was so drugged he never adjusted to his meds, the 15 mg.

We have been in constant contact with neurology and Purrkins kitty vet. They have tweaked his meds a couple of times. Purrkins had one focal seizure ( where his head cocks) during the reduction, whisker twitches that are very mild and last seconds. They increased the evening dose again, and now we wait and see how he does. We see Purrkins more on this dose. His hop is normal, but he still has some facial itching (we are managing) and still resting a lot. Fingers crossed, this is the dosage for now, and we can eventually get off this crap. It is ongoing 24/7 watching and seeing.

He is now on 13.13 mg evening and 11.25mg a.m. We are finally getting the meds compounded to make life a little easier rather than cutting this tiny pill into bits. Plus, Purrkins will ruv chicken-flavored meds:)

I promise to get you videos of the flippity fish when things are to a newer normal. And sorry to all of you all not in favor of the real mouse but yep, I do plan on getting Purrkins a pet mouse to observe. He deserves more than a mouse;)

I will update again properly later. Our plate is overfull; my Dad is in the hospital, and I'm on standby!

I'm praying my heart out to get my Dad feeling better and home. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Anyone who wants to add prayers or good juju for my Dad & Mr. P will take it, please!

Love to you all!💝💝💝

Scratches to Jet and Jery, please!

Oh Holly♥️   we are all sending extra good juju and endless prayers to your Dad for a healing  recovery and, of course same f0r Me.  Purrkins.

Bummed to hear so much uncertainty  going on with yoir Dad and Purrkins.

I didn't  realize  the meds were still on a bit of a roller coaster for  Purrkins.  I k ow the tweaking jas to ge nerfed wracking, but it does sound like the right doses are getting sorted out.  I know it's ja4d to be patient, but with time and trial and error, I think  you'll eventually  be able to wean him off, or, at the very least, just a low dose.

And some extra hugs are thrown in just for you, okay?    They're  special hugs,  full of strength, peace and a pawsitive  focus that supports an overall sense of well being and a knowing that all is well

((((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))

Thank you, Sally, 😘😘😘you know I can use that special hug!!
Yes, the meds have been a roller coaster to put in mildly. I think we are getting to the right dose? You know Purrkins. He rolls at his own pace. Lots of time and patience and this maybe furever? I do not know only time will tell. Tick Tock lots and lots breathing. We are managing, and we do see Mr. P coming back finally. It's nerve-wracking on this hooman and now Dad! Yes! They have been both done these scary things together before, and they both managed to come out of it! I'm doing my best to keep the faith and keep those fearful thoughts away, it's a constant battle right now!
Purrkins is much better off than my Dad right now, but he has his own pace too.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I will fill you in more when I know more. Lots of praying and waiting!
Love you!💝💝💝🫂

Oh wow Holly, just catching up. I'm so sorry about your Dad and we are sending LOTS of pawsitive juju and sp_hearticon2 for a speedy recovery.

Purrkins will come out of this at 110% and so will your Dad. You have so much patience and make such well-thought out choices for those you love, there's no doubt in my mind that both will bounce back. The waiting is the hardest part though. When you get tired just lean on us, we are here!

Please keep us posted OK?

Thanks, Jackie and Rene,
We appreciate it! My Mom also asked me to thank you all too.
We thought we would have some solid answers yesterday, but the MRI was pushed to this a.m. happening now. It is the last piece of the puzzle. It's too much information to share until we know more. Right now, it's NOT my Dads' Myasthenia Gravis. He has something going on with his pancreas, gallbladder, which affected his heart, kidneys. May or may not need surgery; with MG our hope is no surgery, of course. All these drugs used to treat infection & heart are cautionary drugs with Myasthenia and surgery? Ugh well, I don't know.

My aunt who got covid was released from the hospital last week to a rehab facility but now back in the hospital. Rough haul for all of us.

Thanks, Rene I'm sure you are right on Purrkins; we have the best team, and I can't tell you what a relief it is to have them; we could not ask for more. They are and have been constant!

Dad is improving on the meds, so that's HUGE! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
some pics i know the rules;)

Oh my goodness.  Sending you all lots of prayers for Mr. P and your dad.  I hope you get some answers soon.

I didn't realize you were still adjusting meds for Purrkins.  I hope you get everything all figured out.
