Bob and I received these remembrances of Trouble Sunday and Monday. I knew the black & white was coming, but didn't have a clue about the other. The black & white was done by a Pit Bull Talk forum friend who is an art student at Oklahoma University. The other is by an artist in AZ, commissioned by a group of Pit Bull Talk forum friends.
They are very different and very special each in a unique way. I hope you enjoy them.
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

They are really amazing! It brought tears to my eyes to see the one in color, it looks so much like her. So does the black in white, but the colored one (maybe because she is looking at in this direction) makes my heart squeeze alittle. Hello Trouble, miss you.

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us. Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
You should see it in person. The photo doesn't do either of them justice, but the color one you can see individual hairs. It is amazing.
And you aren't the first to cry when you saw it...I miss her so much.

charon & gayle
Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
Love Never Ends
What a precious forever gift! They are both just beautiful and so touching.
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Shanna, they're both special and beautiful. A thought I had was, isn't it lovely to know you have people who love you that much?

From abandoned puppy to Tripawd Warrior Dude, Dakota became one of the 2011 February Furballs due to STS. Our incredibly sweet friend lived with grace and dignity till he impulsively raced over the Bridge on 12-15-12.
Dakota's thoughtful and erudite blog is at http://shari.tr.....pawds.com/
The waterworks won't shut off here either! These are so special, really awesome keepsakes. What a great bunch of folks.

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
We are blessed to have so many awesome 'doggie' friends. Bob & I have both been members of PBT for many years now and they shared the antics of Trouble for a long time, they fought the allergy battle with us, took the cancer journey with us, gave us the strength and knowledge to keep Duke when we thought he was human aggressive, have been super supportive in our efforts to make Duke a respectable member of society, and mourned with us when we said goodbye to Troub. We are grateful for their support with this breed we have chosen. We are humbled they would honor us with such a lovely gift.
I'm delighted to be able to share their gift(s) with you - my other family - without whom I would never have survived the osteosarcoma journey or life as a tripawd. Thank you so much for the kind words.

Both are very beautiful. I miss Kona (our Pitbull) very much and I plan on adding a third dog to our pack after the holidays. I want to rescue another Pitt or Pitt cross. Are you familiar with the group Pitbulls and Parolees? I think they pair abandoned dogs with prison inmates for basic training and then the dogs get adopted. We recently had a Woofstock rescue event in our area but none of the Pitt rescue groups were there.
