OMG ... the bloomers thread ... I almost missed it!!! LOL!!! I can't really weigh in as I've never had a pup with bloomers but this is hilarious to read (probably not to dear Meg). Oh how I wish I could hear Meg's mum narrating this with the accent!!!
And of course Pam with the pettipants ... LAUGHING here ... big belly laughs!!!
No matter what ... Meg will still be a picture perfect beauty!!!
And did I see on another thread you trimmed her nails too? Meg is just getting so much beauty time and treatments ... what a lucky girl~!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Sorry I didn't cast a vote but it has been decades since I had a dog with 'bloomers'.
Besides- I'm on the west coast and I'm used to the election being called before I even get a chance to vote

I find it funny that Mona, the tripawd kitty, got her vote counted. She lives on the west coast in Canada. Is that like an illegal immigrant?

I believe Meg allowed your Canadian vote because she liked your choice. I think she declared the Californian votes illegal though because there were soooo many of them! Although, some of the Californians may have migrated to Canada by now so maybe she'll reconsider.

This is getting completely out of hand. Accusations flying in all directions. Mona got her vote counted because she expressed a preference. Purrkins got his vote counted for the same reason. All humans or animals who expressed a preference got their vote counted, or that was my intention. There was no discrimination on the basis of geography, genetics or anything else. There was however a counting error. Fionn's Mum's vote was counted, but Fionn's wasn't. It had got wedged in a corner of the ballot box and was only noticed when the box was taken for cleaning. Apologies to Fionn. As he voted not to trim, this did not, however, affect the final outcome. Meg's pettipants (LOVE it) will remain unhemmed.
This has been a very divisive election. I would ask that we now have a period of reflection and calm. Reach out to your neighbours, however they voted. Build bridges and bury the hatchet. We are the mighty Tripawds Nation. We will always have far more in common than that which divides us.

Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016. Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016. Lung mets August 25, 2016. Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.
Wherever they are, they are together.

See Clare, OVER here in the States, even if an election is OVER and all votes have been counted OVER again....well......I guess the definition of "OVER" means different things to dofferent people!
