At the time of Pie's death, the three of us were in the middle of filming a horror movie, starring a certain pair of infamous bloomers. This footage was actually filmed during Pie's very last walk in Norfolk. You do not see her in it, but you can hear her shouting warnings from the bank, as indeed she so often was.

Also Angel Tripawd Meg (aka The Megastar), who died in April 2023, aged 14, after seven glorious years on three, and Angel Staffies Elsie Pie and Bille. In the pawprints of giants...
BUHAHAHA Omc I hope we are allowed to laugh!
Beware of the bloomers they got hooked! I hear Miss Pie warning beware, Meg, the thorns have attached to your bloomers!
BUT see if she didn't have her bloomers they would be attached to skin I still vote for bloomers! I don't have to deal with the bloomers either! So I get it! Did you get in the water to get her unattached?
Sorry, that is priceless footage!
BUHAHAHA Omc I hope we are allowed to laugh!
Yes. You are. I should have said, it is a comic horror...
Did you get in the water to get her unattached?
Oh yes. And it was FREEZING! Not the first time, nor the last, Meg's had me in the river.
Brrrrrrrr!
Thanks for watching ❤️

What a horror!
I haven't dealt with bloomers since I had a Newfie mix years ago- and they were very intimidating! Lucky for me we was near 150 pounds so there was not much that could hold him back. Of course he ended up dragging home whatever got hooked back there.

Goodness gracious Meg, you got your Mom in the freezing water 😬
But hey, the bloomers are "isolating material" against the cold, I bet.
Maybe your Mom could use some bloomers too to keep a warmer body temperature in the icy waters when rescuing you ? ...

Oh my goodness.. I got nervous there for a moment! When I saw the britches pull her back and the camera went down I was a mess for a moment!!! Good thing I have a good heart still ( I think lol)
Thanks for sharing, my goodness Meg is a feisty one isn't she??
Love and hugs,
Jackie

Oh my goodness Meg. I am sorry for you bloomers. I heard the splash at the end and knew your mom was in the water to save you. I heard Pie shouting "watch out Meg"
Thank you for the laugh

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! OMD!!!! This is soooo funny! 'The music...the suspense....The Pie in the background egging Meg on.....And then you throwing the camera down and the sound of you splashing into the water...PRICELSS!!!!
But the best part (other than Meg being free of the Bloomer eating monster) is completely unfazed Meg is! She displays no concern whatsoever! Total joy in the fact she has her ball, she's in the water, and you are coming jn to swim with her!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
One of the best horror .movies with the perfect music score!! Well done!
Lots lf love always!
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Thanks so much, everyone, for watching. I do so enjoy sharing these with you.
It was actually a little scary at the time, not so much what happened, as what could have happened, as I really don't think Meg could have got herself out of that one by herself. I doctored the video to make the stuck bit longer than it actually was. In fact, the moment I realised she was caught, I dropped the phone and jumped in the river, you can just about hear the swearing, I think... In retrospect, of course, it's hilarious, and just pure luck that I caught it on camera (cause I film them so rarely, lol...)
Yes, Jackie, she certainly is a feisty one. *slightly weary sigh*
And I'll look into getting some bloomers for myself, Teresa, thanks for the tip...
Thanks again for watching.

So funny. I thought it was her tail caught on the thorns. But then her bloomers may be as long as her tail.
Clare, I think the required bloomers for you are called fishing waders. You and Meg would look like quite the pair with Angel Pie's bark whistling through the wind.
Lots of fun, thanks for sharing your Meg adventures.
Hugs,
Kerren
And yet another brilliant video that draws us to the edge of our seats. Meg.....sigh......we need to chat. Your Mum is not a cat....she does not have nine lives....and even if she was and did I'm pretty sure we're pushing it a bit here. How about we give her a short break here for just a bit? What do ya say? Just a short break....so she can catch her breath ok??? I knew you could Meg....Atta girl! ❤️❤️❤️
