Wish you could actually see Merry Myrtle in person as she enjoys her Puppy Latte. From the time we get within ten minutes of Starbucks, her big kissable mug is out the car window, drool flying in the breeze, lip smacking sounds ringing in my ear!
The laser focus she gives her Starbucks cup as it gets closer and closer to her is so much fun to watch!
Without further adieu, here is what pure BLISS looks like! 🙂 I share that state of bliss with her just by seeing her joy of being dog!

Oh, and don't feel like Frankie the Counter Surfing Tripawd gets left out! He gets his own treats without ever having to leave home!!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
That is focus indeed, Merry Myrtle. and Frankie, well, THAT is determination!!

On October 27, 2016, nearly 6 months after amputation, and 18 months since his cancer likely started, we lost Pofi to a recurrence of Soft Tissue Sarcoma in his spine quite suddenly. His canine sister also succumbed to cancer on March 1, 2019 - we lavished her with our love in the interim, but life was never quite the same without her only real canine friend. Cliff kitty had to leave us, too, suddenly, in August 2019. Lucia kitty grieved all these losses, but helped us welcome two new Lurchers into our home and our lives, Shae and Barley.
Love, love, love these! BUT, I think Mr. Frankie might be in the market for one of those dog shaming placards. He has the perfect guilty look for it, even if we all know he really doesn't mean it.
Kathi and the Turbotail April Angel...and the Labradork
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
I love it. Although Frankie stop eating that delicious looking cake. I would have eaten that before Frankie got ahold of it. I love Merry Myrtle's starbucks trips. I tell you they need to give her stock in that place.
Keep on sharing the wonderful videos

Your life is always exciting with those two around!
How does a front leg Tripawd counter surf? Does he actually jump up on top with all 3 paws?

Thanks everybody! I always love reading your fun respo ses! 🙂
Frankie's counter surfing "style" is to stand on his back legs, pound that one front leg of his up on the counter, or tavble, or wherever, and stretch himself out like a slinky. That Cconhound nose of his takes on the persona of a food seeking missile! Ive pushed things so far back, or high up that even I have ttrouble reaching them!
I'll have to get a video. Oh darn, another excuse to post a video! 🙂

I used to thaw meat out on the counter until we had a cat that would knock it down, then Taz would eat it. lol I figured out that I could stick the package of meat in the microwave to thaw and no one could get to it

Oh wow... just wow... Frankie!!! Are you channeling your inner Shelby? That is totally a Shelby move - no guilt either!
Thankfully Jasper does not do that (paper towels though... she loves to shred those). Also we don't keep a lot of cake in the house. Like Michelle, once the cake is home, the cake is eaten!! LOL
Love these so much!!!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
LOL, those two!! Myrtle looks like, I didn't do it, Frankie did. Who me? I had no part in it. Chandler counter surfed a quarter pound of grass fed butter last week. Ate wrapper and all. At least it was wax paper. I figured all the butter would help move it along. 😳 I know it was him. Lucy was with me and you can sit a T-bone steak in front of Daryl and he wouldn't eat it until you told him to. Plus, Chan has a history with butter eating. That stuff is $8 a pound!
TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.
