On Tuesday, .erry Myrtle goes to PetCo first (before Starbucks) to get some attentio AND cookies (not necessarily in that order)! She always heads straight over tonthe cookie display and waits for everyone to gather round!! Kinda funny how the staffer is trying to make her give her her paw and do down...not going happen!
Merry Myrtle says "I'm here! Pet me!": http://youtu.be.....bNwqpiHTfk
They notice she stepped in some gum on the way in..UGH! All Merry Myrtle cares about is getting atte tion!
Merry Myrtle loving attentio !!: http://youtu.be.....vsRzbhEtbY
Trying to get her to leave is always a chore..
Merry Myrtle loves socializing!: http://youtu.be.....0boOUwM7Ow
Not able to take Frankie on adventures while it's so hot because I have to have the windows down (no a/c) and he thinks he should be able to jump out! Such a crazy, no holes barred kind of dog! Anyway, I always bring him something too. Today it was a packmof PAWZ. Frankie just loves to have a discussion about his presents...he discusses everything!! EVERRRYYYTHING!!
Frankie Lee expressi g his excitement over PAWZ!: http://youtu.be.....7LO8iAM5cU
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Oh theser are so cute!!! Frankie does have a lot to say!!! OMG ... wow.... definitely wordy! LOL
BTW - gum can be removed at home w/a bit of olive oil (I assume - Jasper gets sap on her paws ALL the time from trying to crawl up a tree for the darn squirrel so that's how we learned that) ... I would think gum would be the same.
I just love how well Myrtle walks on her leash... she's so calm and patient and kind of saunters. Little dogs tend to pull and go completely BAT crazy (ok, maybe just mine)...
I love how friendly everyone is to her. They must love Tuesdays!
Thank you for sharing .... Love!!!!
Shelby Lynne; Jack Russell/Shiba Inu mix. Proud member of the April Angels of 2014.
October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Merry Myrtle loves the attention. 🙂 She is having a great day. I think if she could stay there she would with all the cookies
When Frankie was barking Bosch, Snickers & Jazz sure came running 🙂

Yes, Farnkie always brings my crew running. LOL He is hilarious! I was thinking peanut butter for the gum, it always worked when my girls got gum in their hair. Then I realized that I did not have to try to keep the girls from licking the peanut butter off. Guess the gum would come off with it. People throwing gum on the ground is one of my pet peaves following not putting carts in the little garages in parking lots and dumping furniture at the clothing recycle bins. Ugg! Rant over. I look foward to Tuesday's also. Myrtle makes me smile. I am excited, we are getting a Petco right around the corner from our vet. It will be yet another place my pups are welcome. Will make a nice stop after vet visits. I love how Myrtle sits so nicely for her cookie. Good, ladylike manners.:-) Lori, Ty & Gang
TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.
I'm so jealous of your Tuesdays with Myrtle. I've been wanting to take Meesha and Melody out but they would pull my arm out of socket and one just can't go without the other.
I love your videos of Myrtle and Frankie. I've been trying to do better and get more pics of my girls.
xoxo
Harmony became a Tripawd on 10/21/14 (MCT). She left us way too soon on 11/1/14.

Yes Pam! More pictures PLEASE! And I completely understand the arm pulling that goes on when trying to "walk"two excited dogs at once.
Here's a picture of what my wrist looked like when I took them both to the vets a while back. The leashes were wrapped around my wrist while I was trying not to be dragged along behine them...as one runs off in one direction and the other in a other. And then once I hit the ground, they both came running back wrestling with each other...while jumping on me using me as their cushy mat! They were having a ball!
Warning...Not for the squeamish....
Lori...LMAO at the realization peanut butter may work on kids because they can't lick it off! And I'm right with you on your peeves!
Alison, olive oil...great idea and it worked taking off the last bit of residue. And Merry Myrtle enjoyed the remnants of the oil!
Thanks Michelle and Jerry! I truly look forward to Tuesdays! And Michelle, I'm sure Frankie's vocalizations ...constant vocalizations..can drive any normal dog into a howling frenzy!
