Hi All,

I am finally getting around to donating Cora's wheelchair which gave me the gumption to poke in here. I still think about you all fondly and Tripawds will always have a special place in my heart.

Floyd is 12 now and has pretty significant arthritis but is otherwise healthy. He's still has a lot of energy given his age. He seems to have finally gotten over his abuse (it took forever) and is much more trusting and calm. Having said that, he's still a twit and given the opportunity would chase any bicycle down.

Franklin, my shy orange kitty, recently passed over the rainbow bridge. It was pretty sudden. I am grateful that he had really come out of his shell this last year. Fezz, my friendly Maine Coon is his usual friendly self. He's about 12 also. And Tippy, my guinea pig is 3 now and bossy and friendly. Given how sickly she was when I adopted her, she's done great.

Hmm... not sure what else to say.

Chris, the crew, and spirit Cora

Oh Chris, so good to hear from you and catch up on all your critters.

I'm sorry Franklin had to head to the Bridge, but I'm sure Cora was there to greet him.

I still shake my head in disbelief at the depth of your love and devotion  to Cora ro help her be happy in her Cora way♥️  No one could ever  have done as  much to ensure her happiness.

Thanks so much for checking  in.  You are such a foundation  to th9s community.

Hugs

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Chris it is so nice to hear from you! Both you and Spirit Cora also hold a special place in our hearts. (For anyone new reading this, check out Cora's inspirational story. She joined us almost 10 years ago and we often think about her long journey to being a loved, happy, Tripawd hero. She is truly one of the biggest inspirations you will ever get to know here.)

I'm really sorry about Franklin's passing. Ugh! We never have enough time with our animals, but he was very fortunate to find his way into your furmily for the time you had together. With Cora there to greet him at the Bridge, I'm sure they shared many fond memories of life with you and all your lucky critters.

Super glad that Floyd is doing so well. Hard to believe that feisty guy is 12 now. Wow! You really care for your animals in such an attentive way. No wonder he's doing so well, also with Fezz and Tippy as BFFs I'm sure your home is filled with lots of love while Cora proudly watches over all of you.

Where did you donate Cora's wheelchair ? Whoever gets that special set of wheels is one lucky pup!

Thanks for the kind replies.

Sally, I think you are the heart of this community! And Renee you and this place is amazing and I will always be grateful for it. I haven't donated the wheelchair yet. I reached out to Sebastian's Love and am waiting to hear back. I hope you are all doing well.

Ok, I can't resist. Here's some pictures of sweet Franklin. He was such a goofball. His favorite thing was being with Fezz and his second favorite thing was the laser pointer.

What, all the images came from the same source? Hmm... I need to wake up more before I sort that out.

Ohhh sweet Floyd! Look at that FACE! sf-kiss

Facebook has a weird way of hosting images, which is why the source URL often doesn't work on 3rd party sites (obviously those Faceboogers never want people leaving FB!).

Sebastian's Love is great! If you don't hear back let me know. You can also try Joey's Paw, they are pretty active and donate chairs.

If I remember right, the photo has to be hosted on another site? Facebook is the only site I post pictures on. Hmm...

Ok, I haven't heard back from Sebastian's love so I also reached out to Joey's Paws. Thanks.

I hope you, Rene and Jim, are doing well?

Yeah, exactly, unless you have your own Tripawds blog. I thought Cora had one? If not, Imgur.com is a good photo sharing option.

Let me know what Joey's Paws says. I haven't had direct contact with them but keep in the loop with their newsletter.

We are doing great thank you!
