So since Ms. Anonymus asked for Manni's job at the bridge I thought I'd try and answer, not that I'm sure there is a bridge.

I am also not sure anybody would want for Manni to have a job there since he would a) make sure everybody was safe and guarding the heck out of "his territory", so if any one of us came to meet up with their animal again they'd have a hard time getting in. just saying... 🙂

and b) if the kitties were in the same place, too, Manni would be poking them in the butt, with his nose, so they would finally start running for him to chase after... I am not kidding. He would do that with the barn cats all the time until they would get so annoyed with him they started clawing at his nose.

I suppose he could also work as the one finding all lost pets and people, he's done that before, but somehow I doubt that anyone will be lost there.

So, Ms. Anonymus, maybe Manni having a job there wouldn't be such a great idea? What do you think?

Here are examples of him guarding EVERYthing. There is a reason I keep calling him "the world's worst first dog"...

Just saying... 🙂

Awww Tina.  I think Manni has a job.  🙂   He is your Guardian.  That is his job right now.  Heck maybe chasing a few cats too 😉    I think each one of our babies has a job even if its laying under a tree waiting for us.

Michelle, I completely agree with you, all our beloved pups have a job over the Bridge, no matter how big or how small, they all serve a loving purpose there as they did here, I truly believe that. I think Manni can be the master guardian of the Bridge, and watching out for his mama down here as well ❤️💙💞🐾

Love to all,

I've been trying to think of what job Nitro could/would do, and not really succeeding. In life, the only dog he liked was his brother Kodi. He was a champion squirrel chaser, always had a ball in his mouth, and barked like crazy at the neighbors - human or canine. Perhaps his best quality was snuggling, touching, loving, comforting....me. So not sure what job this would look like at the bridge.

Paula and Warrior Angel Nitro

Nitro 11 1/2  yr old Doberman; right front amp June 2014. Had 6 doses carboplatin, followed by metronomic therapy. Rocked it on 3 legs for over 3 years! My Warrior beat cancer, but couldn't beat old age. He crossed the Bridge peacefully on July 25, 2017, with dignity and on his terms.  Follow his blog entitled "Doberman's journey"

Pretty sure our Max is in charge of all water sports and head lifeguard!  He was a fearless swimmer and loved water whether it was a big puddle or a whole body of water.  I have a hunch Herr' Manni is his assistant due to his ocean experience 😀

These are great descriptions of the jobs Manni, Max and Nitro would have! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Max definitely managing all the water sports on the pristine clear water lakes AND oceans at the Bridge!  I can see Gus and Murphy helping hi pass out the vests and beach balls.way-cool

I do think Nitro would be in charge of passing out lasers everynight for everyone who wanted to chase them before bedtime  He speaclizes in orchestrating Nighttime activitiesway-cool

Yeah, Manni would help overseeing the water sports by being a Lifeguard and making sure everyone plays safely.    And thoe two pics you posted make me think he would also be the WATCHDOG who is on the lookout when he is notified newcomers are on their way to the Bridge.  He guides them with " butt pokes" to point them jn the direction of their welcome wagon, then to the tummy  massage table, etc.way-cool

PS.  Tina, can you fix the link to Manni's "worst first dog...." blog so the comments can be made?  On my screen/tavlet, no reply section shows up.   And that vlog id DEFINITELY worthy of some responses! 🙂

Hope Christine doesn't mind, but I wanted to add the link to her blog here.   Through the years Christine has always  lessened  the grief for us all whenever any if our family neads to the Bridge by reminding us all what a glorious place it is! No one paints a better picture of what a happy place the Bridge is better than Christine.:-)

So I'm not sure how this would translate into her beloved Franklin's job title, if at all.  That would be up to her

I think Murphy's job would be watching ~ watching for squirrels, watching for strangers, watching for food to hit the floor, watching for a chance to run the fence ...lol He could catch any treat that was thrown in his direction. clap

And Cassie, well she was a momma to everyone!  Every kitten we brought into the house was groomed by Cassie, so they learned to love dogs.  She also groomed us!  lol I swear she did, she would lick our legs when we got out of the shower, but she really liked to lick our hair!  She would get the grandchildren, too, either in the tub or just out of the pool.  And when the grandchildren were just babies - oh, she hovered, she would lay right next to them if they were on the floor or in their bouncy chair, and if they were sleeping & woke up, she came running to let us know (yes, Cassie, I can hear! lol). heartGlenn used to say that he almost wished we hadn't gotten her fixed, that we would have let her have a litter of puppies first, she would have been a great momma.

Donna, Glenn & Murphy

Murphy had his right front leg amputated due to histiocytic sarcoma at 7 years old. He survived 4 years, 2 months & 1 week, only to be taken by hemangiosarcoma at 11 1/2 years 6/12/17

Just thought I'd bump this up again.  It's a great way to remember the essence  of each of our dogs and cats and how their "spiri personalities " continue as they now reside at  the  Rainbow Bridge.

They all take on jobs at the Bridge based on their individual special uniqueness.  Without question they all have a blast with their special tasks customer designed just for them

♥️♥️♥️

Aww thanks Sally. I love this one.

I believe that Wyatt Ray stays busy regulating and welcoming incoming angel Tripawds at the Bridge. That dawg was born to stand guard. It was in his nature to "welcome" newcomers in a clear and very concise tone. Even as he aged that part of him never wore out!icon_lol

No doubt Wyatt is using his "clear and concise" tone as he welcomes newcomers, as well as when he needs to do some regulating Wyatt-style.

And yes, Wuatt has been quite busy settling  into his new job.  Clearly he's not  not  focusing on picking out another dog for you and Jim.  Your priorities  are not his....just like the dynamic he  created  down here on earth😂🤣

This is Mr.Gabriel, I was invited here by Benny to give our sweet boy a job at the Rainbow bridge. I know what he would be, and that is the "Fun Police" or the Fun Sponge.

At the dog park he was always making sure puppies were being respectful, calm, and ensuring they would sit down so everyone could get treats.

Or as a part time/winter job. He would for sure be on Snow removal duty!

Awww I love love love his jobs! He's clearly just the right pup for the role, looks at home in his role as Mr. Fun Police and part-time snow removal guy. What happy memories! Seems like there was no situation that he didn't know how to make the most of. That's such a great lesson for all of us.

Thanks for sharing, and thank you Sally for encouraging more Angel Gabe smiles 🙂

That photo of Gabe with snow on his muzzle while holding his "toy" is priceless.  Definitely helps support his job description as Captain of the "Fun Police"😎

I like what Jerry said:

Always love hearing what our Angel's are doing at the Bridge.  Thanks for telling us Gabe's job AND for sharing more wonderful  pictures of this Happy boy♥️
