What a great idea!!! Thank you, Sallyclapclapclap

Lily loved to snuggle with her lamb, so I think she should be in charge of handing out stuffies at the Bridge. She's a little shy, and this way she can get to meet everyone and keep the attention off her and on the stuffies. Although, once everyone has their stuffie, she will try to steal it from them at every possible opportunitywinkerwinker

Joan and her angel, Lily

Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.

Yep Ty has row after row of "Shoes By Ty" in his shop! His closet is too small, he jad to expand dut to supply and demand! I can only imagine the chaos that ensues when some of the dogs want the same shoe....until they realize that at the Bridge, there is a never-ending abundance of everything!! Deer and turkey carcasses in the welcome wagon..YUM!

Okay, do we jave any hairstylistx or Barbers at the Bridge? Gus really does need some stylin'! Hmmmm....maybe Shelby could help turn that frizzy top knot of Gus's into a fashion statement.

And sweet shy Lily in charge of passing out stuffies at the Bridge...what a great way to "break the ice"...sorta' like a "Stuffy Socail"..That Lamb is yours Lily! Nobody messes with Lily's Lamb!!

I know, I know I've been one of the missing but had to chime in :-)! Shooter is the guy at the end of the bridge announcing the "Lords and Ladies" as they enter the party. He was quite the vocal fellow.

Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.

Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.

I love it.  I see Ty would definitely be busy with the shoes and Lily would be great to be in charge of the Stuffies.  Luanne, long time no chat and I am glad you did chime in.  I can see Shooter saying that 🙂  We need someone to introduce everyone as they arrive to the party.  🙂

Makes me smile to see everyone chipping in on this one.

Otis is a Protector of any dogs who are smaller, weak in any way, or timid.  He was Tess' protector for years, and I was always told that he pretty much kept everyone at doggy daycare in line, making sure that play did not get too rough.

Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016.  Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016.  Lung mets August 25, 2016.  Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016.   Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.

So glad you found this thread Christine.

It's lovely that gentle Otis will be at the Bridge helping to referee the playtime and watching kver everyone...here and there!! I also visualize an endless row of adorable cabins set up specifically chock full of every dog's personal needs. Otis walks around the cabins every night sort of as a "Security Dawg". And when he gets to Cabin #7, he keeps on walking...because he can!

Wow I love this Sally, can't believe I just found it. I think Maggie would have 2 jobs; First she would show all newcomers where the squirrels were, second she would fish for all the dogs but especially for the cats. I will try and add pictures.Image Enlarger

It's Milo's first day and I am sure he's thrilled to meet all these new friends.  He's always loved the big dogs like Otis, and he'll play as rough and tough as they want, but when he tuckers there, he'll go lay down with the little ones like Maggie and play by using just his head and mouth.  He's always played with ALL the dogs, regardless of size.

No way to swimming.  No way to barking or guarding.  No way to costumes.  No chasing balls or sticks or animals.  Pretty much -- no real dog stuff.  He's glad someone else has that under control.

His job will be as the chauffeur, giving car rides to all of his new friends:

And if he's not allowed to do the driving because of some crazy Rainbow Bridge rules, he'll be the tour guide since he loves riding and watching and recognizes everything through the window and can tell others about it.  He actually moves his mouth up and down while riding.  (We actually drove him along his favorite walking routes on his last day, and he checked out every last bit and flapped his jaw!)

Nothing better than a road trip!

I don't think they have the Department of Motor Vehicles at the Rainbow Bridge, so I think Milo is good to go!

So this made me cry, Jenifer, but in a good way. Sweet, sweet Milo. He'll be driving for sure, and he'll need a BIG car to pack all his friends in. So much love to you and your family.
