What's your cat's name? Why the reason for the amp? When is the surgery.
Not sure how much lurking around you have done on here, but are lots of tips to help navigate the recovery of cats and get them back to living full lives. The first couple of weeks are no picnic as far as recovery goes, getting the right balance of meds, regaining mobility, Etc but recovery doesn't last forever!
Anyway just let us know how we can help you and if you have any questions okay?
Hugs

My first Tripawd was a little Pug named Maggie, she lost a back leg to cancer. She and her sis had free run of the yard via a dog door. I did modify the door so it was low enough that she could just step through it. Another important thing for her: the areas around the door both inside and out were at the same level so there was no need for jumping.
How soon is his surgery? What is his name?

Thank you for your replies! My cat's name is Sandy. He had a soft tissue sarcoma on his front right leg. The surgery was today, (1st Nov). Sandy is back home now and doing well. Totally, it is about recovery at the moment. The cat flap he has to enter and exit the house is level. There's a mini step on the exit that i put in place a few years back. Fingers crossed for a good surgery plus one day tomorrow. It's all about pain management and lots of fuss and cuddles...
Welcome home Sandy!! Alow and easy and lots of rest.....you've got this.....and we are here to help!
