Every day around the world, a good human gives a three-legged dog or cat a chance at a great life. For example there’s Merlin, a fortunate rescue dog from Turkey. He was recently adopted by the O’Brien pack from Ontario, Canada. Kelly O’Brien shared his magical story with us for today’s #TripawdTuesday spotlight:
“He is the busiest little Golden Retriever — named Merlin. I rescued him from Turkey, through Golden Rescue.
He is so fast on 3 legs.. Unbelievable!
He is just over a year old.. Blind in his right eye with low muscle function in his right rear leg due to hip surgery. His front right leg was amputated due to nerve damage from being hit by 2 cars. The damage was all to his right side.
Thus, his name Merlin..the little wizard that magically has survived.”

I’m in looooove with Merlin !! A.magical little Wizard of Survival indeed!!
Thank you so much for giving this precious boy a loving furever home! His pictures show such a happy boy full of joy!
Ypu .might check in the Gear section a d look at strollers ahould he need a little “ride” to his favorite place to run and play in the future. Some tripawds, even without his “extra” issues, just like being pished in their “royal carriage” as they take in all the sights, scents and sounds of nature!
It just warms my heart to know how happy Merlin is and to know he is ao lpved!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful boy with us!
Hugs to all!
