With so many Tripawds blogs it’s been a challenge selecting a few inspawrational tales to share on Tripawd Awareness Day. Many dogs have since passed on to the Rainbow Bridge, but their stories will live on here to help others looking for answers when faced with difficult decisions about amputation for their dogs and cats.
Member cairasue was very active in the discussion forums, often helping others down the same ruff road she traveled. She is another Tripawds blogger who thoughtfully documented her journey from osteosarcoma diagnosis to the memories of her passing. Along the way her message was always upbeat — one of “Never give up!” — always out and about enjoying life to the fullest in the time the had together, with a constant reminder to Be Pawsitive.
Caira Sue took part in a cancer research study, she was addicted to tennis balls, and she was the first official stop on the KillBarney Tour. She was the inspiration for our Tripawds Have More Fun t-shirts, and she will never be forgotten.
