Lori, a single mom of two kids (Joshua 11 and Allison 9) with a small business to run just didn’t see any reason to add more to her plate. Jake was born in Truckee on February 7, 2004. He and his brother Max came to live with her family 7 weeks later. Jake did everything with with the family and quickly became Lori’s constant companion. He was often with her even at work. Again, people often commented on his wonderful disposition and caring manner.
