Just had to share that great little poem sent to us recently by our new friend Vicki … It embodies what my people and I are trying to do with this website – the least we can do, which is to share our experiences in hope that it may help others.

Jerry, you have no idea how overwhelmed I am. I know that you had said that you would one day use Helen Keller’s words in The Power of One, but I had no idea you would use them to honor me. When those words jumped out at me, I knew immediately what you were trying to say and I love you so much for that. I have tears streaming down my cheaks right now and whenever I feel down and wonder if life is really worth the fight, I will remember your kind words and continue to fight for what I feel is the most important thing on this earth… our dogs.
