Hi all. My dog Winnie just had her left hind leg amputated earlier this week. Dr. Mat Glassman at Friendship Hospital for Animals is top notch. And they're doing a beautiful job working to manage her pain after she returned home. Just holler if you have any questions. They're not inexpensive but he's an excellent surgeon.
Pawesome! Thanks for taking time to share, this will definitely help someone some day down the road.

I just want to throw in a good word for Friendship Animal Hospital as well! Although they don't treat my Jill and we live in NY now, they were Jack (brudda's) vet for the first year of his life and were fantastic!
Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013.
