Best. News. All. Day!

That's awesome.

The incision/amputation site will probably continue to twitch for a while if not indefinitely. Even four years after his amp our Wyatt Ray 's still goes it when he tries to scratch himself with the missing rear leg. It's definitely something that makes you go "awwwwwwwww."

It as to have been incrediby frustrating to see her go through this challenge after everything else she's been through! I'm sooooo glad the massage seems to be helping! Hopefully it will continue to dissipate. Yeah, it jist jas to be some sort of nerve screw up when they did the surgery. I wish it was a simple as being great related!! Just in case, five her all the treats she wants.....she's earned them!!!

I'm so glad you jave your happy Yasmin back too! Big sigh of relief all over tripawd land! Isn't sleeping withyour dog the best gift in the world? Nothing better!

Okay, so what's Horlick? Whatever it is, we'll fi d some and sent a vucket load over to Yaxmin! She deserves it!
Doing a hoppy dance over here! Thanks for givingus some good news today! Look forward to more wonderful updates AND pictures! YAY for more pictures!!

Just saw Jerry's post. Ueah, that reminds me...and I learned this here...remember to "be their missing leg" when it comes to scratching that side for them, scratching their ear, etc. If I see her "twitch, I immediately get up and scratch all over "that side" for her, hoping I'm hitting the "itch"spot.

Thanks guys!

Sally. I so agree. There is nothing more wonderful (if not a little uncomfortable) than sharing your bed with your dog! At first she had her own bed next to ours, but every night she would wait until we were asleep and sneak up. Nowadays she sees it as her god given right to sleep in the middle of us on top the blankets.

Oh... You don't have horlicks. How do you sleep at night? Horlicks is a hot milk drink like hot chocolate, only it is made of malt instead. It is full of vitamins and minerals and sends you right off to sleep. Very soothing.

The last few months have made us reflect and think about what really matters. I think we already knew, but sometimes we need reminding. Our family matters more than anything. Our family includes Yasmin. Without her, it just wouldn't seem right. All the negatives we have experienced are fading away now Yasmin is happy and no longer in pain.

Horlicks eh? Sounds verrrry yummy!

Isn't it amazing how losing leg, especially if the cancer battle is involved, brings you these gifts? It's so hard to remember what really matters when you're just living life, until something like that happens. Then, wow, it changes so many things for the better if you're open to it. Yay for Yasmin showing you how to Be More Dog !

Gosh Kate, she looks great!!  Moving well and balanced, stairs no problem, one legged chewing no problem.

Although I must say that the cammo bandage and the animal print bedding made me a touch dizzy big-grin.

I'm glad the licking seems to be under control too.

Karen

p.s. in my house I am lucky the pugs let me share the bed with them!
