How to insert embedded media??

Ok, first I use the embedded code in the URL area. Then what? I hit insert and preview and I can view it in the box but it doesn't appear like that in forum post? It shows a code..What am i doing wrong?? Please step by step if you can! (frustrated) Thanks … video embedding 101

Not quite. If you have actual "embed" code from a site such as YouTube, the easiest thing to do is just paste the entire object code where you want the video to appear after selecting the HTML mode button.

Otherwise, paste only the media source location into the URL field when using the Insert Embedded Media button. Within a string of code, the location of the actual media file can be identifed as something like

src="http://www.yourwebsite.com/movies/yourmovie.mov"

When doing this, however, you will also have to identify the media type – Flash, Quicktime, Etc.
