What code are you pasting in? If you provide a link to your Picassa album/slideshow we can look into this further.

Basic HTML can be used by clicking the HTML tab and pasting the code where you want it. For security purposes object embed, iframe, javascript and form code is not allowed. Slideshows and movies uploaded to YouTube can be embedded easily in all blogs simply by pasting the view page URL on a line by itself with no link. Tripawds Supporter blogs can use the Viper's Video Quicktags plugin for enhanced embedding options for various sharing sites. Picassa is not supported directly with VVQ but Flash Video (FLV) is.

If I switch to an enhanced blog does it transfer what I've already done?

Upgrading your blog with a Tripawds Supporter subscription will automatically remove the banner ads, increase the upload space quota  and enable access to premium plugins and themes. All existing posts and pages will remain intact and the selected theme will not be affected. In short, yes, everything will "transfer" to the new blog.

The random headers (above) here in the Main Tripawds News blog honor a number of three legged heroes who have passed. Others have been long time supporters who have contributed significantly to this community, either financially or through their committed participation in these forums.

Thank you for the reminder that we need to develop an official policy for submission of News blog header images. Until we do, the "process" is to submit a suitable photo considering the size and aspect ratio of the header image. Please keep in mind that we usually won't consider adding a new header until the user has been active in the forums for a while (i.e.; hundreds of posts) and is a Tripawds Supporter or has contributed to support our ongoing efforts to maintain this website.

FYI: Since you recently joined – after our annual fundraising campaign – you may not be aware that Tripawds is a user-supported community and a completely volunteer effort on our part, with considerable annual expenses.

Yeah, unfortunately you won't be able to use that embed code directly. The embed tag could potentially be used for malicious purposes, so it is filtered out for security reasons. Since it is a Flash object though, you *should* be able to embed the slideshow using the Viper's Video Tags "FLV" option available on Supporter blogs. We haven't tried that yet and would love to help try to figure it out. We also plan to contact the plugin developer regarding Picassa slideshow support. Thanks!
