WOOOHOOOO! We have raised $625 and are now in eighth place for the top fundraising teams!

Many thanks to the following new team members who made it happen:

The Petite Princess, Shelby and her loyal servants Jack and Cindi. We are awaiting word as to whether or not the Petite Princess can be released from her superstardom duties for the day.

and give a paw to Suzie Mccauley and Rizzo, a 3.5 year cancer survivor! We hope they can be there as well.

Last but not least, long-time Tripawds supporter Holly Nishimitsu and her pack, Spirit Dakota, Spirit Freckles, Butters and Gunner.

The Morris walk has raised $30,209.50 so far, but we still have nearly $20k to meet the overall $50,000 fundraising goal for this event. Please join us and help make it a reality! Together we can make lives better for cats and dogs living with cancer. Thanks!

Memorialize your Pet

We are very excited for this year’s event.  Please remember to bring any funds raised to turn in at registration.  Also, make sure to check out the Expo area the morning of the walk.  We have over 30 vendors joining us for the walk.

It was a beautiful day and it was nice to see Brad and Anna and pack, and Suzie and Rizzo- haven't seen them since last year. Ralph brought Austin Ray who was quite a gentleman (we get to see them several times a year!).  Ralph gave me the Tripawds Tribute Leash - it has changed since I last sent it on its cross country trip. While it is nice to see the ribbons representing those who are battling cancer, it is at the same time sad to see the leash almost full, with most of the ribbons for angels. I strung it up on the pug stroller, but of course I forgot the poles I made for it last year.  It was noticed though, several people asked me about it and I told the Tripawd story.  Ralph and I met a woman (who's name I forgot) who had an OSA front amp pup just a month or so out.  I gave her a Tripawds card and bandanna and we encouraged her to check us out here.  I also met Koala and mom Sam- he is the third pup that was on the TV spot with Rizzo and Austin Ray.

I didn't get very many pictures- I had my hands full with the stroller and the pugs.  Here are a few I did get.  The first is of my pugs- Obie, wearing his brown supporter bandanna and Tani, wearing her purple survivor bandanna.  The second is of Austin Ray and Tani and a kid that liked Austin.  The last pic is of the leash on the stroller- I wanted to show this view so Michelle could see Sassy's ribbon. Sassy's was the most recent addition, I tied it on to the leash at the walk.

Thank you Karen for adding Sassy's ribbon.  :)   I am glad it made it in time for this walk and joined all the other "famous" Tripawd Warriors & Warrior Princesses.
