David and Rocky (and Baxter now too!)
Rocky had his right front leg amputated on Valentine's Day 2017 after being diagnosed with osteosarcoma.
He joined the September Saints on September 3, 2017.
He is the toughest, bravest, sweetest and best friend I'll ever know.
OMD!!!! It worked alright!!! Frankie and Myrtle jumped off the sofa to come over to my tavlet to see how I fit a dog in it! LOL!!
He has a "gravelly, raspy" Blues singer kind of voice!! 🙂 Love it! 🙂
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

I'm over at my parents house (still hard for me to be home without him). One of their dogs went nuts looking for Rocky when I played it.

Great video clip David! What a beautiful boy! I'm glad you have your parents that can offer support. It must have been heartbreakingly lovely to see their dogs looking for Rocky!

Love the video of Rocky! I have been going through old photos and found some videos of Toddy. Oh how they love nothing more than to be in the middle of it all. It has been difficult and therapeutic at the same time. Continued prayers for you David .

Hey, great howl from Rocky. That was a surprise!
I laughed when I had a look at the site with the cocker spaniels looking for a home. As I looked at the photos, I'd think "That's a spaniel?" Any cute dog was being called a spaniel! I then noticed the site is called "mixed" cocker spaniels. All adorable.
When it's time the right one will come into your life. In the meantime enjoy your travels.

The Episcopal church is doing a Blessing of the Animals today. I'm not Episcopalian, but I'm going to take Rocky's ashes to be blessed.

David, I think that is such a beautiful idea! You don't have to be any type of religion, to have faith in the power of Francis of Assisi! You are doing a very special thing in my mind, having Rocky's ashes blessedand Rocky will be surrounding you with his love.
I am also sending loving thoughts and prayers for Rocky! God Bless beautiful boy!

I went this afternoon. It was a nice ceremony. I took the bag with his ashes out of the wood urn for the priest to bless them. I'm glad I went.

I'm glad you had such a beautiful day, surrounded by Rocky's spirit David! This day will remain in your memory for years to come... you've done a very special thing for yourself and Rocky today. You are honouring your boys spirit, both on the Rainbow 🌈 Bridge and with his life spent with you! Well done my friend!

I *think* it's the first Sunday in October, so you may have to wait until next year. But I'm not sure about that. Definitely look into it.
It's meant for living pets. In addition to her living cat, one of my co-workers brought the ashes of another cat. We were the only ones to have a pet that had already gone to the Bridge.
I always said I'd do whatever I could for Rocky, and that includes in the afterlife.
One month ago was the last full day of Rocky's life. Every ... single ... day ... has felt like a grind that just won't end, and yet the month has flown by. It's crazy how time messes with your head that way.
