Thank you one and all. I did a final set of thoughts about Zip, well, probably not my final thoughts but at least for now on her blog. Tell Sammy that we need him to carry on for Zip, she thought he was one hot fellow. I am glad the end came suddenly, the decision was swift but the thoughts behind it had already been worked through before this day ever came. It is not any easier being a vet and having to make this decision and in ways it is harder because you can rationalize doing more or second guess yourself about doing it but love overcame science and mercy overcame emotional selfishness. Though her true name was Zip Parader VI her name to all of us was Zippy Pickle Perfect Angel and now she truly is, the perfect angel. Thank each and everyone of you for your loving messages, I realize I too need to be much better at comforting those who have not yet walked this path. Blessings on each of you, give your four/three-footeds a hug for us.
