Hello all,

I just had to share this with you as we're peachy pleased over here in Montreal (despite the freezing cold!).

As you may have noticed on Cooper's tripawds blog, I am a major shutterbug when it comes to taking pictures of the two tripawds Cooper and Cinta and our Golden Colby. So last week I started an Instagram account for them, @coopercravescarrots, as a means to share pictures with my god-daughters who love them and don't find they see them enough.

You can follow and/or see their pictures here:

http://instagra.....escarrots/

Then early this week, Cooper, Colby and Cinta's story was chosen to be featured on FuzFeed.com as part of their #PawsForThought and #AdoptDontShop campaigns!

https://fuzfeed.....ever-home/

Following this, Cooper and the pack's story got picked up by PetsPlusUs who shared it on their social media feeds on both FaceBook and Twitter! You can see the posts here, they were both posted today:

https://twitter.....tsPlusUsCA

I love that they were featured as part of an Adopt Don't Shop campaign and that the story puts a spin on rescuing dogs with stories, i.e. either emotional or physical issues (and two tripawds)! It also talks to Cooper's being a certified therapy dog with Therapeutic Paws of Canada - it is so inspiring to see the effect he has when we go on visits. He has great success with the groups we visit of seriously handicapped children and adults, as well as with the crisis center for homeless men, and we have also started going to a new drug rehabilitation program. They see him as an example of living in the present, forgetting your past, forgiving and getting on with life.

Go tripawds!

Had to share this with all of you!

Hugs from Montreal xo

OOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMDDDDDDDD!!!! I thoroughly enjoyed reading the FuzzFeed chronicles of Cinta, Colby and Cooper!!!!
Getting to know each of them in more depth is such a privilege! The challenges, the emotional and physical scares, the transfomation that comes from feeling loved and secure...this issuch an INSPIRED EXISTENCE for these kids!

You have done such a beautiful job of helping these beautiful souls blossom into the beings they were born to be! You are their Earth Angel, that's for sure!

I love what your husband said when you called him. Knowing you were bringing a dog home and merely asked what his name is!!

And Cooper walk i ng aroundnwith a bullet in his leg...and Colby taking six months before he stopped being fearful of your husband...fascinating!

I cannot say enought about these INCREDIBLE PICTURES!!!! They are SPECTACULAR! I can't think of enough words to describe how magnificent these are. You have captured so much joy and happiness...contentment and peace..and love, love, love! You have really looked into the souls with these photos. The one of Colby kaying on her back with feet up in the air...so xute! The close ups of Cooper's...his gentle eyes....lovely!

I feel like we know Hollywood Stars...true CELEBRITIES!!!! These guys are ROCK STARS....and you are their SAINT!!!

Thank you soooooo much for sharing this with is today! I think I have a permanent smile on my face!! Soooooo glad you joined this community...your contributions are immense and you and your pack have touched us all deeply!!

With appreciation!

Thank you so much Jerry and Sally - wow, what nice comments!

I feel so privileged to have these souls in my life. It always sounds cliché but I really do feel, they bring us so much more than we can ever bring them - and they teach us so much more, about love, trust, compassion, the world!

Sally - what you have done with Franklin is so amazing and inspiring. Going through the choice of facing amputation on one's one animal is so hard and difficult, and many people would not consider adopting a tripawd for fear of any physical issues and limitations, etc. you just went right ahead and adopted Franklin, who had the double strike of being a Coonhound which I am told are difficult to find homes for in many Southern states as they are considered too common there, and considered hunting versus family dogs. You can tell by how quickly her just settled into your house with you and Myrtle that he knows he's found his earth angel here!

Paws up to both of you as well for being the amazing tripawd ambassadors that you are!

Hugs from Montreal (and I'll keep the pictures coming on the Instagram account and the blog posts here :)!).

And so he deserves to be Sally! I think our coonhound's deserve all of the love and comfort in the world now that they have found their forever homes - as do all of the tripawds and their quadripawd brothers and sisters here!

I added a few new pictures to Cooper's Instagram account, think you'll like them :)
