Get ready for today’s Tripawd Tuesday celebration! We’re giving three paws up in honor of Bud, a sweet dog who just turned eight years young. Bud is the perfect role model to show us how to love every minute of life even when things get ruff. For example, Bud suggests putting on a crazy hat, it makes everything so much better!
This Tripawd cutie has overcome difficult health challenges in his eight years, including a painful skin condition known as “vasculitis.” You’d never know it by looking at his beautiful smile! We had the honor of meeting Bud earlier this year when visiting the generous folks at That Pet Place in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
His mom Kim recently shared with us:
“I am happy to report Bud & I & the rest of the gang are having a good summer so far. We just recently celebrated Bud’s 8th birthday and I could not be more thankful that he was here for it. Also, June 18th was two years post amputation for him Yeeaaahhh!!!! His vasculitis is definitely still there however his symptoms are MUCH better with the warmer weather.”
Managing Bud’s vasculitis symptoms isn’t easy but it’s clear that he’s a happy dude and loving live every single day, don’t you think? We do! Bud and Kim, you are one amazing Tripawds duo. Thanks for being great role models!

Happy Birthday Bud! You are truly one very special dog with very special,parents! Over the years you have provided your grandpa and Mom with so much love. You are also one very lucky pooch to have been given the best home with buddies and the most dedicated, loving Mom a dog could ask for! Thx for making me smile!
