I just listened to the podcast from December 2019 about pets and CBD.....so interesting and informative. Coincidently I went to a seminar given by my holistic vet about this very topic (and the five elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine).

The talks were almost identical - from why most vets shy away from this subject, to the science behind how it works, to how to find a good product. In the talk, Dr. Patty told the group how a client of hers came to her about wanting to try CBD for her 3-legged dog (she looked right at me an smiled)…..at the time, she also had no experience with this, and not wanting to get arrested (her words) she reached out to a friend at UC Davis for advice.

Then I read your article that talked about Askel's mom. I was impressed with her research ( I'm sort of lazy when it comes to this) and ordered the product she is involved with - CBD Bio Pet Care. I've been giving it to Kodi and it really seems to have put a spring in his step. I use a bigger dose and more frequent than she does, but I like the results. He is also on gaba and carprofen, but as he's a senior he gets wellness labs every 6 months anyway, so we can keep an eye on some the liver values. They've been normal so far - his issue is with kidney values creeping up. He will be 16 next month, so I'm not too freaked about that.

Long winded way to say I really enjoyed your podcast!

Thanks so much Paula! You must be referring to our Stephen Cital interview! We will do an "official" Tripawds News blog post spotlighting it soon, haven't yet squeezed it into the blog so I'm happy you found it.

And I'm also glad you found the Tripawds Nutrition blog with Askel's mom, "How CBD Helps.." How terrific it's working for your old man! Wonderful!

We never know how many people find our information useful so we really appreciate your taking time to let us know. xoxo
