Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog

Oh this definitely brings tears to my eyes reading everyone's posts and seeing these wonderful pictures. This must have been a great event to be a part of. It's so nice to see Honeygurls' family there too. Nicole and Chloe - what a great picture - we finally get to put the face with the name! Thank you again Chloe's mom for walking on our behalf - a true honor to be a part of your beautiful t-shirt.
Kami (Mackenzie and Kobe's Mom)
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
We have a few more great pics of the walk. Thanks to all for permission to post! It was really wonderful to meet some of our tripawd heros and their pawrents.

Dx Osteosarcoma 3/31/10. Amputation 7/21/10. Honey put up a valiant fight and lost her battle 9/22/10. Missing her and treasuring 9 years with our Honeygurl.

Great pics, thank you so much! I'm putting them on our Facebook page now.
But Whoops! That's not Martha and Travis, that's JJ from GSRNC and another beautiful pup.
This is Travis:

I'm sorry we missed everyone. Vasona is just 15 minutes from my house!
Unfortunately, my darling mother passed away on Oct. 8th, losing her battle with cancer, not even a year after her liver transplant. She told Mika jokingly just four weeks ago, "Mika, if you live longer than me, I'm gonna be MAD at you!" and we all laughed. Little did we know...
Anyway, cancer has been a BITCH to me this year. Thank you all for doing the walk so we can someday beat this!!
xo,
Mari & Mika the WonderDog
Please accept our most sincere condolences Mari.

That is JJ and Bob Jachens, two of the Regional Dog Managers for GSRNC. They each are responsible for about 100 dogs being adopted each year. Blanca is our latest Thulani dog. The Thulani program is a hospice program for dogs with terminal problems. Blanca has cancer that has metastisized into her lungs. Her story and photos are here.

Travis and Blanca are both beautiful pups!
Very sorry about your mom, Mari.

She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
