OMD! That sounds pawesome! We are so sorry we couldn't come.

All MBBunny Rita keeps saying is "Bacon cake? Um, what was that about bacon.... cake! Bacon! CAKE?!"

Looking forward to seeing the photos!

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!

It was great to see everyone again, and a good time was had by all. Even my two quad-pod monsters were worn out by the end of the day. I wish we lived closer and could attend these more often.

I think an extra mention of Carla and Paw Patch Pastries (www.pawpatchpastries.com) is warranted here. Carla didn't just roll out a few bags of samples or something easy like that. She had a pop-up tent for shade, an entire table full of specially made gift buckets for everyone, a huge spread of individual dog snacks, and of course, a cake that caused ravenous insanity in every dog within smelling distance. Bernie bin Laden almost took my fingers off biting into that cake! My favorite sight was Cemil, an Anatolian Shepherd tripawd who's so tall he was able to graze snacks directly off the table - and he did, quite contentedly. Carla really stepped up on this one, and even though we don't live in the area, we intend to support her business via mail order. I encourage everyone to do the same. Thanks Carla!

Absolutely! The Oaktown Pack was supposed to post something but I'm gonna take charge and put Carla's generous support in the news blog. Stay tuned for a report.

John we are so hoppy that you and Di, Bernie and Linda chose to spend your precious vacation time by pawtying with Tripawds. You are always a treasured part of this family, thank you for helping to make it so special!
