The next Nor Cal Tripawds Meet-Up will be Saturday November 4, 2017 at the Mill Valley Dog Park.

As usual we start around 11:00 am and hang out until 2:00 or 3:00 pm.

Elly-Peaking.jpgImage Enlarger

We’ve been hiding in our house the last couple weeks due to 100 + temperatures but now Elly says it’s safe to peak outside and think about the cooler fall days in our future (the sooner the better!).

Save the date so you can meet up with your Tripawd pals and their Packs! All two, three and four leggers welcome.

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Haha!!  You tell Miss Jasper Lily that there will be PLENTY of treats for her!  I never get tired of handing out treats to everypawdy.  In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever been so popular in my life as when I’m at the NorCal Tripawd Pawties! All the pups really seem to be interested in me!laughing  You tell Miss Jasper Lily to make sure she has a large appetite on the 4th!  Can’t wait to see everyone!!!

Although we’re not “local”–our house in Eureka is 260 miles north of the Mill Valley Dog Park–I’m thinking of driving 4.5 hours so Phoenix can meet other tripawds. She’s only met one other tripawd in Humboldt County in her three years as part of our family. Phoenix likes traveling in the truck, likes other dogs. How many tripawds usually show up? Will you guys meet rain-or-shine?

We would love to meet Phoenix!

Lets see, last time there were probably 7 or 8 Tripawds and 6 or 7 quad dogs in our group, it varies from meet up to meet up.

If it is really rainy we would probably cancel- the Mill Valley Dog park turns into a muddy mess with rain.  When would you come down? We should know a couple days ahead if there is any weather issues.

BTW- I lived in Arcata for about 6 years in the early 80’s, I know the drive well!

We would LOVE to have you Phoenix!!! (and you too Merry Myrtle) !!!

Jasper Lily (the quad) and I drive up from Los Angeles for these parties. I never made it up with my Angel tripawd, Shelby Lynne, but she serves as co-pilot on all our journeys! We usually do meet – even if it is chilly out … we bring blankets and chairs to spread out. We would love to have you!

Three weeks until the meet up!

We are carefully watching all the fires in Nor Cal and So Cal.  Thankfully everyone is fine so far, but we are constantly sending our best, positive thoughts that everyone stays safe.
